Carol M. from Cape Coral, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2017 Well equipped unit. Everything you could want is right there.
A guest from Punta Gorda, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2016 nice but villa needed LOTS of repair -- kitchen faucet too loose, slat on swing broken, strip on floor not fastened down, refrig needs repair, etc.
Michael H. from Bradenton, Florida recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2016 We had a great time, once we figured out the particular rules and how they applied to us. Trying to figure out what rules applied to guests and non-guests were not very clear. The rules for the water-taxi state that you cannot take anything on the boat, but we found out later that only applies to non-guests of the resort. Guests can take beach bags, towels, etc. (no chairs, they are supplied on the beach) on the water-taxi. The beach is private, which is nice. The rentals on the island (bikes, golf carts, etc.) are also only for guests. If you stay at Harbourtown Villas like we did, you are a guest and can take full advantage of everything the resort has to offer.
A guest from Placida, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2016 Unfortunately, the table was a high one with high chairs. My husband cannot sit on those high chairs. This made eating our meals complicated! We expected to have a balcony. Instead the living room area was bigger with screens. We preferred having a balcony.
Lawrence R. from Orlando, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2016 We stayed in unit 1213 .The unit was nice it would have been nice to drive over at least once to visit the sales center and explore the entire Idland the Ferry took us to the beach we weren't permitted to bring cooler, first ferry leaves at 1130 am so we didn't want to rent a golf cart for the whole day 55 dollars we would have rented hourly maybe 10.00 dollars an hour other then that stay was fine.
A guest from Placida, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2016 It was somewhat difficult ultimate to find the villa even after we arrived there It was sat. And the office was closed. We actually in a week never saw a person from Palm island. We experienced ants which were treated with a gel and then they spread from the kit hen and bathroom to all other areas. The unit was really cute but the carpeting in the bedroom was badly stained as was the chair in the livingroom. We a tally stayed two weeks and we're supposed to have a total cleaning for the second week but housekeeping was in the unit ten minutes utez. She replaced the towels a d changed the sheets. She did not clean anything!!!. I ended up cleaning the unit myself. The area was nice we enjoyed the restaurants , shopping and the movies. The swimming pool was supposed to be heated but was ice cold. So I was unable to swim which I was really looking forward to.
A guest from Placida, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2016 The lousy weather didn't help matters but we had some housekeeping issues that were reported but never resolved. The pool for the, villas was ice cold. So I was not able to swim for the two weeks there. We did go to Englewood beach and really enjoyed it there. Beautiful! Rain had flooded the, beach at palm island and mud prevented you from getting to the beach.
A guest from Columbus, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2015 We had a very relaxing three weeks at Palm Island Resort. Met many interesting people and enjoyed many local places to eat.
Charles C. from Thomasville, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in October, 2015 Same good service and attention to our needs. People friendly and accommodating. Location on mainland is a plus in that Leverocks restaurant is within 50 yards and the food is very good. Kenny (chef) and his staff do a great job. Short boat taxi ride to island. This was my 6th trip and will continue to return.
Brian B. from Placida, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2015 If you want to just relax. Be careful with off season if you wish to use water taxi to the island beaches. Felt rushed didn't go over as much as we liked but was nice when you were over there. Car farry is $55 and to long of a walk for inlaws to the beach. Only 1 free trip for our week visit. So keep that in mind Water taxi was free just not readily available.
Ami F. from Okmulgee, OK recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in July, 2015 The management company was very helpful and friendly! We only booked this condo for 1 night because our flight was late and didn't give us time to catch the fairyto the island where we would stay for the remainder of our vacation. This condo was so beautiful and conveinent it would have been nice to stay longer than 1 night.
Nice unit that was cut above the rest in Harbourtown
Charles C. from Atlanta, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2015 Place was in awesome shape. Unit 1213 and it is for sale. Very clean and well maintained. Always have a good experience at Palm Island.
A guest from Urbonna, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2015 Love Cape Haze . The villa is in a great location. There are a few things that need attention in the unit we stayed in. Plumbing problems in kitchen and bathroom. The wifi you could only get it in one location in the unit and it was very slow. Needs a ice maker only had 2 ice trays to make ice. Could use some cleaning in bedroom. The closet had so much owner stuff in it that it was hard to put our things there. The main problem with Palm Island Resorts who manages the marina villas. Tried to move us over to the island because the owner of our unit wanted to use the unit the same time we were going to be there. When you plan a vacation a year ahead and make all the arrangements with them a year ahead they should not be able to do that to you. So be aware!
A guest from Maple Grove, MN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in January, 2015 Their was not an official checkin or front desk on the property. The unit was not a resort rental property but a private condo unit that is need of some updating and cleaning.Irritations we in countered:Carpets we stained and did appear cleanChair and ottoman had stains on themLamps needs new bulbsPoor lighting in the leaving roomThis unit was too have a lanui but the owner converted it to living spaceThere was not any instructions on the unit, the pool access, and other facilitiesThere was only 3 hangers to use in the closet. We were disappointed in the unit rating it as a 2 at the best and would not recommend it to anyone.

A guest from Cape Haze, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2014 We arrived and did not have the proper keys for our unit ! It was a Terrible storm and an employee had to bring us an extra key after ten pm . We had two units- one was very updated and neat and clean , the other one very outdated and very dirty .
Vincent F. from Bethlehem, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in December, 2013 The recent stay started out very badly with no place to stay. The package for our first night was to be for Harbortown Condo's. No package was found and after several hours of correspondence, we were able to secure our room for the night. From that point on the stay was warm and pleasurable, with excellant service from all the staff. Flip, Lisa, Marti, Dan and the young man at Coconuts made what started out as a disaster, really great. I have recommended the resort to others and expect to return in the future.
A guest from Lauderdale, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2013 Great condo nicely done and clean.
Property Manager Response: Response from Palm Island Resort Jacob, We are pleased that you enjoyed the villas and found it to be neat and clean. We look forward to welcoming you back int he near future. Thank you
Ronald T. from Fort Myers, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2013 Our boating group set sail for Palm Island Marina in April. THe dock people were the best I have experienced. Having a smaller boat then the rest of our group, we required a condo to spend our week end. Out rented condo was spectacular. We LOVED it. Restaurant on site, free beer in the pool on Saturday. A lunch ride to Rum Bay Resturant on Palm Island made for a perfect week end vacation.
Bud L. from Sarasota, F recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in April, 2013 This was the first time my wife & I rented a condo there. it was very nicely decorated and we intend to do it again this summer. hopefully the summer rates are a little more affordable. If there are any specials for the summer, we would like to know. Thanks, Bud & Sue Lomastro
Hal H. from Brookville, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2013 The condo was marvelous. Very tastefully decorated. We even took pictures for our own decorating ideas, but I did not care for the polyester sheets. Yuck!As well the check-in & check-out procedures needed attention. That's too much to ask of the restaurant. The meal at Leverock's was fantastic. So was the wait staff! The experience at Rum Bay, was really lacking. I won't do that again.
Excellent place to stay...couldn't have been better!
Jamie K. from Coral Gabels, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2012 My best friend and I stayed at Palm Island Resort on the mainland a few weeks ago to celebrate our birthdays together. We were looking for a quiet place where we could relax and catch up, and this place was EXACTLY what we needed. Everything was wonderful. Our villa was adorably decorated and had been remodeled and upgraded (not sure if they are all like this, I think our unit was #1213...definitely request this one if you can). We had everything we needed, from a wine bottle opener to a blender and dish soap. The water taxi driver to and from the island was a really nice guy. The food at Leverocks and Rum Bay was not exceptional, but it was good enough and very typical seaside food. The "shelling" on the island was incredible. We got there in the late afternoon and still found plenty of seashells. We saw the most amazing sunset. The resort even had lawn chairs for people to use on the beach free of charge (at least I think they were free, no one asked us for any money!). I do recommend bringing a beach towel, as they were not provided. It is also a great spot to fish. The only problem we had was understanding the check in and check out process. We got there just before 8pm and couldn't figure out where to get the key. Thank god for the 24 hour maintenance man who answered the phone when we called. He explained that there is a little box where you can pick up your keys across the street from the resort. The main office for the resort is actually on the island, but we were staying at the marina, so we were confused. The check out process was also not clear, but it turns out you just drop your keys back in the box where you got them. Simple enough, but it would have been good to get directions via email before getting there. Aside from that, I cant say enough nice things about this place. It really was a fantastic gettaway and I would definitely go here again. WE LOVED IT!!
The Palm Island Mainland Marina Villa that we stayed in was a wonderful place to stay and we will stay again! Several of our wed
Cindy R. from Nort Port, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2009 The staff were wonderful and very accomodating, we have recommended this property to all of our friends and family and they can't wait to come back!
Property Manager Response:

TERRY B. from ROCHSTER, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in February, 2009 Our stay was incredible - not knowing what to expect, the "room" was beyond expectations. The washer/dryer, kitchen utensils, amount of space was so much more than anticipated. Merely as a suggestion (please don't take if as a negitive on our overall stay) the bathroom needed some work - wallpaper peeling, hangers pulled out of the wall. The furnace quit on a Fri night, looked up maint phone no. in literature rec'd and saw Mon thru Fri hours - called anyway on Sat. morning and get an immediate, very profesional answer and by the time we returned to the room the problem had been fixed and a report of repairs made left on the counter - very nice! The people in the other units were very friendly and the staff went out of their way to accomadate us. Thanks!
Steven D. from Marengo, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in February, 2009 When we checked in, we found dirty floors, glassware in need of a re-wash, a garbage disposal that didn't work and a kitchen faucet that was loose. We called the office and the problems were quickly addressed. The biggest problem I had was with Internet coverage. The available service to guests is expensive and didn't work very well. We paid for a month's service and gave up after the first two days. It simply didn't work in our room. It would have been nice if someone would have been available to greet us when we arrived and provide us with an orientation to the facility. Overall the property worked out for us and we enjoyed our stay.
