Villas Foxglove Unit 20
Jake K. from New York City, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2016 The other guests and I had a great experience at the Foxglove unit. It was very convenient to get to the lifts and Whistler Village and was very spacious and comfortably slept 8. We would definitely recommend the foxglove units to others.
Jared J. from Monroe, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2016 Once again an excellent place to stay. Free wifi and new flat screen tv this year.Place: Nice newer appliances, looks like they bought new sheets for this year compared to last year. Some reason the phone wasn't working and one of the closet doors was not on the rack. Otherwise place was very clean and great.Accessibility: Right on the bus #5 line. Easy to just walk out and catch a bus. I think it comes every 10-15 min.
Richard L. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2015 Very nice place and comfortable. A couple more fans would have been good but property is in great condition and convenient.
A guest from Chilliwack, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in April, 2015 It was wonderful. The house was perfectly appointed, staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we had a great time.
A guest from Campbell River, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2015 Sadly, it rained instead of snowed. However, Barry has 'guaranteed' snow for next year's visit. It will be interesting to see how he keeps this promise. Our priority this trip was time with the family and we made full use of the many opportunities Whistler has for family fun; ice skating, swimming, spa, tobogganing and introducing the 4 year old to skiing. Management, Barry and Sonja, had to go to extra efforts to have a missing teddy bear returned to our granddaughter after 'Bearbee' and a few other items were forgotten. Thanks so much!
A guest from Vancovuer, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 This condo is a big-sized place with an older but clean carpet. There is an upstairs and downstiars so easy for people to get privacy and sleep. A nice big shoe room big enough to bring in bikes and/or put a family load of skis. The kitchen is updated and well stocked with cooking utensils. It does not function like a hotel but the check in is super easy and the reservation desk does phone to confirm thinks and/or answer the phone on the day of your arrival.
A guest from Kingston, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 My family of 4 enjoyed our stay! Rental mngmt co. was very responsive to running downstairs toilet issue! Kitchen update is very nice. Toaster does not work. Plenty of room in this spacious unit! Updating/repairs needed on stairwell carpet. Top stair has carpet pulling away quite substantially. Could be a safety issue for elderly renters! Reservations were simple! Support is available from reservation team if needed! Overall, a good visit to our favorite location! Whistler!!!
A guest from Campbell River, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2014 We had a lovely family vacation and hope to repeat next year. We left a note that the coffee pot and toaster were not working. Also a few serving bowls would be a nice addition. The condo layout worked very well for our family and the handy bus shuttle was welcome.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. Feedback is appreciated.
A guest from Wedgefield, SC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2013 It was a disappointment for the price - burnt out lights over the kitchen sink and fireplace, a BBQ that is about to break at any moment, dog hair all over the carpet in rolled up clumps as well as the bathroom. The queen matress is wire out and cracked sink in lower bathroom is unappealing. Top it off with no cable for three days and an argument w owners to get it solved where we were told to call the cable company ourselves- pathetic.
Amber C. from North Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 45 days in July, 2013 My children I love coming back to whistler every summer for at least a month. The kids like the familiarity and the space of Foxglove. Barry is always very helpful when ever anything comes up with the condo. This year nevertheless there was roofers working for most of our stay. Though the roofers were polite, it was loud in the mornings, sometimes before we were all awake. They also had ladders in front of our windows and sat on the front lawn that took away our privacy. I appreciated Barry being on top of getting to the bottom of this but was disappointed that there was no compensation. We recommend your serves to many people and come with another family who stay in Wildwood.
Shanna L. from Oak Harbor, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2013 Unit 20 should provide a bit more in the way of kitchen supplies. The coffee maker had no pot, there were only two dish towels, no real mixing or serving bowls. We nearly ran out of toilet paper and no extra was provided. Next time I will ask for a unit that has a deck for seating outside. The beds were comfortable and the unit was very clean. I will consider using Peak to Green again in the future but will likely try a different building.
John V. from Gig Harbor, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2013 The location worked well for our party. Being first-time visitors, a little additional information on the bus system and what other activities were available (pool, gym) would have been useful. Overall we were pleased and thanks for the fresh snow!
A guest from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in February, 2013 Few minutes walk from the village but the shuttle bus is a great service. Clean and quiet. Only criticism is the dining room is quite dark, needs a new light fitting
A guest from Bearview, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2012 The condo was very generic, clean and well equipped. Our complaint was that the beds were awful. An upgrade on mattresses is greatly needed.
Michael W. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2012 We had a great stay in the upper village. We stayed in a three bedroom condo that was reasonably priced, well appointed and only a 10 minutes walk from the lifts. The property was very clean upon checkin. The managment was great. They even let us stay check out late because nobody had the condo the following night. Most managment companies would not have allow this!I highly recommend a stay with Peak to Green Accomodations.
A guest from Millstone Township, NJ recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2012 The condo location is very quiet, yet very convenient with the bus service, although the wait for the bus got longer as the day got later. The condo is very clean and well furnished. We all enjoyed our stay there very much. We just wished there would be more larger pots, cooking utensils and soup spoons in the kitchen. The bath linens were very comfortable, but the bed linens could probably use some replacement.
Monica P. from Bellingham, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2012 Great location, convenient, had a large group and lots of room for everyone. Overall, a great place, would stay there again.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. Thanks for the feedback. Just wondering why there was a property condition score of 3 as we are alway trying to improve our properties. The unit has an upgraded kitchen and dining area and has free parking and wifi. We also have a bonus in that you can use the phone to call anyone in north America and some other countries, free of charge.
Kathy W. from Calgary, AB recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2012 The layout in this unit worked great with the group we had, it was also great having a BBQ to cook some meals on. It was only a ten min bus ride to the village. If you are not driving to Whistler just watch when booking a bus it close t your checkin and checkout times.
A guest from Burnaby, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2011 Great location, accomidations met our needs. The only unfortunate thing that made the experiance a little sour was the noise level coming in from other units.
Robert C. from Richmond Hill, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in December, 2011 the property is clean and conveniently located. The check-in and check-out was a breeze. Staff was quite helpful in answering our questions.
A guest from Bellevue, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2011 Clean property; nicely appointed. Quite spacious - easily fit 6 adults. Good access to bus makes it easy to get around.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. Thanks for your feedback. People overlook the Foxglove as it is not ski in, ski out and does not have a hot tub. It is excellent value for that reason. Barry
A guest from Kirkland, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2011 It was a spacious place for a group of people. We loved the convenience of having a bus stop a few steps from the enterance of the property that takes you to both Blackomb and Whistler. It is located far enough from the village, you don't hear the noise at night so it is quite. I would definitely recommend this place to other.
A guest from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2010 Visitors truck got towed at a cost of $146 and two hours of our time. Although signs are present, information is incomplete and frankly, we didn't notice them until they were pointed out. Property manager should have explained rules to us right up front. Unit still does not have spatula as noted by another group's review some time ago. Lock box system is a good one and also should have been explained to us up front. Otherwise unit is spacious and comfortable. I liked the location, but it requires a bus to Blackcomb base and Village. You can ski home if you like.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. "Predatory towing" is a hot topic in Whistler. Wish we could do something about it. A letter to the newspapers and to the mayor, by everyone would be a start.
A guest from Regina, SK recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2010 Did you have a good overall stay? Yes Was the vacation rental in a great location? yes Was the home clean and in good shape? yes except Barbeque which was dirty and I think non-functioning possibly out of gas. Was the vacation rental management staff helpful? yesSuggestions: there was only one dish cloth and one tea towel, no egg turner/spatula and no toilet plunger (we had to find one from another condo tenant when the toilet plugged. message manager was full and our friends couldn't leave messages; no instructions on how to clear the message manager.
Peter W. from Ottawa, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in April, 2009 Michael, the manager was exceptionally helpful, particularly in arranging for one of our party who was feeling ill and unable to ski to stay in the condo past the checkout time. This made things much easier. It would have been helpful to have a brochure/instructions for the condo: e.g where does the garbage go (we found out) The electro ics was poor: it was impossible to get any radio reception. Several light bulbs were burned out. Odd things were missing (no spatula for the kitchen: using a barbecue one on a non-stick pan is not receommended. On the whole a great stay: thanks.
Great, and a few improvemnts would make all the difference.
A guest from Norbin, Vic recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in February, 2009 Stayed with the Peak to Green people again and was generally very happy with the accommodation. Condo is great, though the bus to the lifts is not as regular as it should be. The real let-down was the beds - everyone who stayed in our party complained about them. That said, the Peak to Green people are wonderful, and we had a blast.
Villas Foxglove #20 - pretty decent place - February 2009
A guest from Bethesda, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2009 The condo had a good amount of room for 6 adults, a nice kitchen and baths, and a pretty good location even though it wasn't ski in/out. It's just a quick shuttle ride to the base of blackcomb or whistler. There were a few lightbulbs out and we didn't receive the mid-week cleaning that we were supposed to, but we didn't really need it anyway, since you have a full washer/dryer in unit. Great location and amenities for the price - easily accessible grocery stores, liquor stores, etc. And the mountains and skiing are just fantastic. Had a great stay!
A guest from Redmond, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in February, 2008 Getting into the house was surprising. Far better than I had anticipated. It is spacious and very comfortable. The property manager was super-friendly and helpful, even when we got caught-up in the traffic and ended up arriving far too late. The distance to the slopes was more than what I am used to, but that was no surprise. The price was a little over the edge. The place is big, but there are factors such as the distance to the slopes that should be taken into consideration. The most negative items were that bathrooms had large humidity black spots and there was hardly hot water to go around for everybody.
A guest from Mexico, DF recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in April, 2007 In general the stay was super; we just have a problem with the car of a friend that was towed during the 30 mins. tolerance written on the walls and when we asked the manager for some kind of help he did not supported us.
