The Prevo house and the staff at Irish Beach Rentals were amazing. The view from that deck is stunning, although the deck itself is tired and a little squidgy in places. The feel of this home is comfy and, with a couple of exceptions, perfect in every way....the bathrooms need updating but other than that, it was more than we could have hoped for.

Both the house and the view were spectacular! The house was very comfortable and private and the walks on the beach were sublime. Plus, the staff was very professional, friendly, and helpful. Our stay was one of the best vacations I have ever had.

We came for a family gathering to this cozy and inviting home. The deck was perfect and the bedrooms accomodated eight of us (beds were very comfortable). The view was breathtaking. We had a wonderful, memorable time and will come back again. The only issue was the gas fire place would not light.

Overall, it's hard to find a less than idyllic place in all of Irish Beach. However, while in a fabulous location, and completely meeting our needs from an accommodations perspective (sleeping for 8), I do have to say that this house was neither "homey" nor "comfortable". Both bathrooms were awkward to use; the beds were difficult to get in and out of. Lastly, there was a genuine safety issue with regard to the entry way step that extended to the kitchen. We had 1 fall and 1 near-fall over the step before we were able to get some bright duct tape to mark the step edge. Horrible design - to the extent that, while planning to return to Irish Beach, we will not be re-renting this specific property.

Enjoyed our stay at the coast. Love the new furniture changes and updates. It was a pleasant surprise when we came in! Just being constructive, not critical, but the master bedroom bed was very uncomfortable and the smoke alarms kept beeping! Otherwise, the house looks terrific and upgrades great!

We have rented homes in Irish Beach for the last 8 years 3-4 times a year, We have a one that has become our favorite and rent it exclusively but needed a bigger home for 6 people instead of only 2. The view was spectacular and the quiet location a great plus for rest and relaxation. The minisus for us were very unorganized kitchen, no non stick pans, no basic pantry items like salt, pepper, oil, tin foil, plastic wrap or baggies, although there was a well stocked spice rack. We had to purchase all of this and papertowels and almost ran out of toilet paper.The furniture was not suited to the home at all, being way oversized for a "beach house" and was very uncomfortable. The table was too large for the dining area causing a need to move the end chairs into the living room so you could manuver around the table. Looked like a decorator may have just picked it out from a catalogue without seeing the pieces in real life. The lights on the back deck and over the dining table were out, there were ants in the "red" bedroom and in one of the kitchen cabinets. It took forever for hot water to arrive in the showers and it was more luke warm than hot. There was cleaning solution residue around all the base boards and lots of dust bunnies in the living room and kitchen. Would recommend this house if you want an amazing view from every room, privacy and quiet. There are other properties that are just as fabulous for half the price and have a much more comfortable home feeling.

Having vacationed @ I.B. for 30 yrs, I am obviously a fan! Love the peace and wonder of the ocean. The view from this house is awesome. One of the best choices to rent. I am a bit forgiving as a long time visitor. For the cost to stay here, looking at it from a new visitor, the unfinished paint, lack of baseboards,mice...not good! I think the it should be more like a 5 star hotel. Luxury. Extra touches. That is not the case.

Once again Irish Beach hits a grand slam! Stayed here last year (on another property) and the Prevo put it to shame! Granted it cost more, but it was well worth the extra $. First of all the property management was very flexible and understanding. The place was in great condition and came with all the trimings! I could go on and on about the view, amenities and everything else that makes this property top notch. I really didn't want to leave. However, I will sum it up by saying that I had an amazing stay.........and as Arnold would say, "I'll be back!" If you are thinking about staying in this area, look no further. This house was great to stay at. The location is the best in the area. We are told that a few upgrades are looming and that would even further compel us to return. The beds were a delight as was the Hot Tub, the Deck and the end of block location. The Whale Watching was fantastic as the weather cleared each day. I would totally recommend this property to anyone in need of the PERFECT getaway. The Management Team ROCKS, always.

It is all about location. Beautiful setting along the ocean. Place was in excellent shape minus a few items like a small ant problem (though the rental agency allowed us to purchase on their account Ant Bait to kill the little buggers long term) and a lamp in the master bedroom was broken (but a replacement was on the way). Also, some remodeling is being done in the master bedroom, but nothing that was too distracting. All in all, the ammenities were excellent and the views tremendous.

the problem was ants. Altho it had rained other guests in properties around us didnt have ants. I registered a complaint but the problem wasnt fixed. We killed hundreds . It was the only problem. Staff were helpful, location was beautiful even saw diving birds and a whale! I love that house its my favorite but those d... ants!

Fabulous view! The property is nice however feels unfinished. Baseboards, paint, no curtains on large master bedroom window. Also, no cozy places to curl up and read. It's the little things that make a house rental go from good to great!

Prevo has beautiful views, is well-stocked and comfortable. I've rented it three times and always look forward to visiting. The beds are uncomfortable and there was some unfinished construction this time around. Also, there were quite a few bugs and the lighting is HORRIBLE in the main room, which we talk about every time we stay there. (Owner, please add some torch lamps or something as an option.) But, I love staying at Irish Beach and I enjoyed the Prevo house very much. it is so relaxing and there is nothing that makes me as happy as waking up to that view of the Pacific!

We had a great time as usual even with the rainy weather. Renters should be advised that the house is under remodeling though it was mostly cosmetic issues. We really appreciated the free night offer which made the stay more feasible. You need to come up with some internet solution soon as that is a major negative to some (positive however to the technophobes in the group!)

we would stay again but would prefer that all of the construction be done by the next visit. we like to visit Irish Beach at least 1 to 2 times per year. Our stay was fun we had snow and we saw some grey whales at the point arena lighthouse. and the snow was a welcome sight at the beach and the weekend turned out to be just beautiful. hope to return soon.

We always have a good time at Irish beach and we have stayed in several different properties over the years depending on size and availability. This was our second stay at Prevo. Prevo is currently under renovation and it would have been nice to know this before we arrived. The floor has new hardwood, but the floor edges and trim are unfinished as is the removal of the sliding door from the master bedroom (left unpainted). We were not told that internet was not available and normally that would have been ok, but we had a student staying with us and she had issues with submitting her homework over the weekend. Finally, we had some ant issues which we brought up to the manager, who informed us that the infestation was due mainly to the weather. Nonetheless, the ants were everywhere, and we had to care of where our fresh fruit bowl was placed. We're sure that many of these items will be taken care of over time, and we look forward to visiting again soon.

Although the home had some unfinished minor reconstruction work needing to be completed, this is an amazing property that allowed our family to enjoy a wonderful weekend filled with fabulous home cooked gourmet meals, BBQ oysters, wine, hot tubing, and beach combing. We greatly appreciate that the owner allows this property to be rented to ocean lovers such as ourselves. Thank you.

Our stay at the Prevo house was wonderful! The place was clean, though it looked like it was in the midst of some construction. Though, if I could make one suggestion - blinds for the master bedroom. While waking up to the sunrise is great, guests would probably like to have the option of privacy.

The setting of the the house was very private with a spectacular view of the ocean. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking a Thanksgiving dinner and the decor of the home was very modern and comfortable. Hot tub was awesome! Our bed was comfy, but the twin beds were pretty firm and squeaky.Also, a sunken living room from the kitchen, which caused some tripping from our older guests. All in all I would recommend this home and hope to return soon!

Overall a fantastic home with such an amazing view of the coastline. Tough to find anything bad to say about this place. The property managers were very accomodating by leaving keys out for us upon our late arrival and allowing to stay a few hours later on our departure day. I would highly recommend this house to anyone and would love to go back myself. My only complaint is there seemed to be a bit of an ant problem. Nothing major and we didn't think much of it, but I don't think leaving bananas out on the counter should be a problem. Maybe that's just not doable in this location. Anyway, no big deal but maybe something the managers could take a look at.

Prevo was in good shape and had an excellent location. Other than a dirty BBQ that prevented us from using it, this is a great place to enjoy the coast. Especially nice was the wine that was left for us. We had just been to Seghesio and were disappointed that they were sold out of Sangiovese. To find a bottle of that waiting for us was absolutely fantastic!

This is such a cute treasure. It was recommended to us by a frequent visitors on a yearly basis for many years. The house is quaint and technically have 4 bedrooms if you use the sitting room. It's only missing an official closet. The kitchen is nicely stocked with the essentials and the back deck has an awesome view of the close that you can clearly hear the waves and smell the ocean. Watch out for friendly deer on the road and in the back yard. A definitely return.

The grounds outside were very weedy and overgrown and it looks like they are trying to remodel. The sliding door in the master bedroom will not lock, and the window in the other bathroom will not shut all the way. The majority of the house is missing it's baseboards and the lower kitchen cabinets are very disorganized. I really like the house, however as an owner of a rental myself, I know what is expected by the renters. I would like to rent this home again, but would hope that it is in a little better shape. We had 3 other homes rented in our group, and those interiors and grounds we're in very good shape.

The bedrooms need a chair(s), especially with such a high bed in the MB, and dressers. WiFi should be included in the price. The available WiFi is limited to one computer only at a daily subscription price. Each additional computer costs more, and it is awkward to access. Great views, comfortable beds, nice TV (needs a satellite channel guide), good sound, large deck, nice hot tub, privacy.

It was a perfect, peaceful vacation place. The only downside is the golf courses were a little far away for my husband. The beds were very comfortable but very high, but I slept like a baby after I finally got in. Found lots of drift wood and read a lot of books out on the porch overlooking the beach. There were deer everywhere and quaint little towns to explore.

This is the 5th year at Irish Beach, the perfect vacation place to relax and recharge. The viewand location is incredible and absolutely the best house we have stayed in for that. Great house with plenty of room and privacy for 6 people. The kitchen is well stocked and beds very comfortable. On the negative side it could do with a little TLC. Carpet in the living room is badly stained, quite a few light bulbs out especially the one over the dining table, the BBQ lid was brocken and made it hard to use and the fridge leaked from the freezer into the food below. Having said that it is a beautiful house and we cartainly would go back, best vacation spot in Irish Beach without a doubt.

Pricey unless you have at least four splitting the bill. Two bedrooms are newer, the rest of the home could use a few more upgrades. The hot tub has been moved off the deck to the side of the home so there is no longer a great view of the beach. There is a good size deck with a view to lounge on, but it will have to be replaced soon. Not the most spectacular home, but it does have a view that makes up for any faults.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Prevo house, we LOVE it! The BBQ was worse for the wear and needs to be replaced, and the fridge had a lot of condensation and ruined some of our produce, it could be replaced too. Just some helpful hints. Otherwise A PERFECT HOUSE.

The property's location was superb. Excellent views of ocean. Quiet, no problems with neighbors, etc. However, the front door deadbolt did not operate from the inside, ie. could not be locked from the inside, only the outside. No wood on the inside- had to be brought in and some of it was very wet. The one bath shower knob almost fell off, it was so loose. The living room table that was also a storage unit for games, blankets or whatever, had spiders and cobwebs inside it. The hot tub worked great. Overall, good, just more attention to detail was needed. The throw rugs really needed washing, they were really soiled. Windows were needed washing.

The home was very spacious and felt like we were walking into home, such a comfortable feel. All of the rooms are tastefully decorated. The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable. I loved the comfortable window seat with excellent views of the ocean. The kitchen looks like it had been updated and looks great. The plasma TV was great for watching the Olympics. The view was wonderful. The hot tub and the large deck were great places to relax and hear the sound of the surf.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! We were very impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was with utensils, spices, cookware, etc. The house was well maintained and we had plenty of room! The only thing I could think of to add would be a banister along the steps leading up to the patio (we had an older family member that struggled going up and down the stairs) and having a satellite connection in the bedroom that had the other TV. Other than that, our stay was wonderful and we will be back!

We stayed at the Prevo and were immediately affected by a major storm. Were without power, heat, hot water or telephone for 3 plus days. Power went out on Thursday night. We left Sunday afternoon a day earlier as there was still no power and none expected. I know some other renters were in the same boat but this house was poorly designed when it comes to storms and it is located in a place where storms are more frequent. The wood stove was essentially for decor as it provided little heat. Property manager did give us a credit of two nights though I thought in our case it should've been three since in addition to the outage we gave up a night of our stay.

I understand the weather and storm are beyond the control of management but the Prevo house isn't well suited for winter weather and I wouldn't stay at this property except in the summer.

I have stayed in this house many times. The time before this one I was not happy with the sofa and the carpet in the living room. The sofa sectional was old and torn. Quite ugly. The carpet was so stained and unsightly it really was very aggrevating to have spent so much and have it be in this condition. Management just kind of blew it off as the owners just need to work on the house asthetics. I would have been very embarrased if I would have brought anyone with us. I was happy to see that they did finally change the sofa and put rugs to kind of cover the stains on the carpet. This is a wonderful location and home. I would not have stayed again without the improvements. I think the owners of these homes obviously have money and with the high cost of the rental to us as a customer, they should be in awesome shape. The decoration of the home is very important as part of the whole experience.
