This cabin has a level driveway. Spacious, comfortable cabin with modern kitchen, DW , W&D. Large living room and dining area. Extra large dining table for great entertaining. Large deck for summer use, BBQ. Recreation room, ping pong table and extra beds. Gas Heat and modern wood stove.Cable TV in main room and rec. room. Master Bedroom suite with California King bed and full bath, plus loft with double bed. Two more bedrooms with second bath.

Great Location but included unwanted visitors A guest from San Bruno, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2013 The home wasn?t bad , it was a comfortable arrangement. The only issue was that we found mice droppings under a mattress and in the corners of the room. This should have been cleaned up before our arrival. ? Was the vacation rental management staff helpful? Yes , they were helpful. They called us back immediately and took action when we requested it. Property Manager Response: Response from Big Trees Vacation Rentals After further investigation from both our housekeeping staff and from the pest service there was no traces of mice droppings or mice found anywhere in this cabin. This owners housekeeper has never seen any signs of mice after the many times she has cleaned this cabin and with the cleaning prior to this guest arrival did not see a trace of any critter droppings? Not sure what this guest found but it definitely was not our little mice friends. |

We had originally reserved another cabin, and when that reservation fell through, we were directed to this property. In the photos, the cabin looked a bit outdated, but it had everything we needed. We were very excited when we got to the cabin because it exceeded our expectations - and the power was out for over a day. The wood burning stove worked great to warm the majority of the house (not the bottom floor- but when the heater came on that wasn't a problem). We enjoyed some great sledding all around the cabin and kept our groceries cold in the snow on the porch. The cabin was comfortable and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group. I think the bathrooms may have recently been updated - both showers were great! The cabin is also well stocked with sheets, towels, games, and kitchenware (pots, pans, gadgets, spices, etc.) The fact that the cabin had wifi was very convenient because there was no cell service at all in the area. The entrance has a "mud room" that was great for getting kids in and out of snow clothes and boots. All in all, we loved the cabin and had a great weekend.We would definitely recommend this property & we hope to go back another time. Stayed for 14 days in July, 2009 the bbq started on fire some one did not cleaan it very well. The kitchen was well stocked. There is a problem in the ceiling in the bathroom. The cabin is great for a big group of people. |

The floors were clean enough, but all surfaces were very dusty, and the upstairs toilet seat had a large disgusting stain in the back. Also, the upstairs shower had not been cleaned. Given that we are charged for cleaning, we expect the house to be clean when we arrive. |
