Ski, canoe, hike, swim, fish, golf, relax, unwind....Set within an acre of woodland on Lac Rognon, this beautifully decorated 3 bedroom property comprises 2 double bedrooms, a bunkbed room plus a double sofa bed in the lounge. Towels and linens are supplied and include feather duvets (in 2
rooms) and cotton sheets. All rooms feature lake views with one bedroom having a private balcony overlooking the lake. To the outside is a wrap around deck with a large sitting area (27' x 18')and a screened gazebo, BBQ and patio furniture. There is a private dock and water front - perfect for swimming and star gazing. Rentals include a canoe, pedalo and life jackets. Two bicycles are available for a small additional charge. The kitchen/dining room/living room are open concept. Features include a wood burning fireplace (firewood included), and a very well equipped kitchen (from fondue set to hand painted dishes)- if indulging in creative cooking and relaxing on the deck or in front of the fire is your holiday pastime, you won't be disappointed. Original artwork, photographs and fabrics from around the world decorate the house. A growing library of books is available with guests bringing/taking/leaving books, puzzles, games etc. The pretty Quebecois town of St Jovite is a half hour drive away with it range of shops, fine restaurants and cafes. Also within easy reach is Mont Tremblant Provincial Park and resort, where a wide variety of activities can be found including white water rafting, canoe camping routes, bike and hiking trails, downhill and cross country skiing and snow-shoeing. Chalet Cache is located on the edge of the Papineau Labelle Wildlife Reserve. Spectatular float plane flights are available from nearby Lac Ouimet at very reasonable prices and take you over breathtaking views of the park and surrounding area. The all weather Scandinavian Spa near Mont Tremblant is a treat not to be missed! Swimming, fishing, boating, cross-country skiing, and snow-shoeing can be enjoyed just outside the door. Should guests require any assistance with the property during their stay, there is a local English speaking contact person (Rick).
