Spring Break 2016
A guest from Lake Oswego, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2016 Overall accommodations in good shape and clean. Nice bottom floor unit with outside patio.Unfortunately the wireless network was quite lacking and requires an upgrade. Unable to stream movies or use network for basics like email. Especially a problem when trying to use the network to avoid expensive roaming charges with phone when in a foreign company. Grade: D-Would recommend with caveats.
A guest from Carlisle, MA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2016 Very nice people at front desk; apartment was very spacious, and while not luxurious, overall was good value for money paid. Hot tub nice. And helpful to have showers available for use even after check ou, so could ski for day and clean up before heading back to YVR.There were just a couple small irritants that could benefit from closer management attention: (1) They had only one door key, since a prior guest had walked away with it and they hadn't gotten around to having duplicates made. Really??? (2) Wireless router in room not working. (3) Dishwasher had not been emptied from prior guests -- we were wondering where all the coffee mugs were until we found them in the dishwasher. Fix these little things, and you're on your way.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. A renovation is taking place in mid April.
Rocco Jose G. from México D.F, . recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2016 The place is very clean. My family really fealt confortable. The staff was more than helpfull. We only had one small incident, fortunatelly it was the last night (the shower, the tub broke). But we would glad be back on our next trip.
A guest from Palmerston, ACT recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in January, 2016 From the fireplace to the quiet location, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Only a 15 minute walk to Whistler Village and Blackcomb even closer. Shuttle bus at the front door. Reception staff were always helpful. Even lending their umbrella on a rainy day. Room was clean, spacious and kitchen had everything you needed, if you decide to cook. Clean and tidy with heaps of space to spread out.
Lisa T. from Duncan, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2015 I love staying here, really close to the Whistler village with out all the noise, a free shuttle outside the door and awesome help with anything you need. Rooms are fresh and clean. I have been staying here for years and will continue to do so.
Rick S. from Derwood, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2014 I am very happy at Wildwood Lodge. This is our third Christmas vacation at Wildwood in Whistler. We have been to Whistler more times but always stay at Wildwood because ski out the front door (cross the street) and straight to lifts and take the ski out trail off lower Blackcomb direct to lodge. Bus stops right in front. Nice big hot tub. Big rooms etc. It is not the high end luxury of some of the slope side lodges, but it is perfect for a family ski trip. Will go to Whistler again next year and stay at Wildwood.
Stacie R. from Alpharetta, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2014 The 2 bedroom suite was small and cramped. Could barely fit the beds in the rooms. No TVs in the bedrooms and nowhere to unpack and the rooms were so small that there was no room for the suitcases on the floor.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. I am not sure what the guest was expecting, however, it was not misrepresented in any way. This is what another guest said about the same sized condo "Nice location close to the lift. Well planned apartment with a lot of space. " The master bedroom actually has quite a bit of extra space for luggage, etc..
A guest from Cardinham, Bodmin recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2014 The accommodation was exactly as we expected: clean well resourced and in a relatively quiet part of Whistler. We were met by extremely helpful gentleman on reception who couldn't have done more to help us and spent several minutes showing us places of interest on a map and explaining how things work. His customer care was exemplary and made our stay even more enjoyble
A guest from Whistler, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2013 P2G housed a number of judges for our hosted Freestyle event. All judges needed close proximity to the mountain which they had. All were very happy with the quality and value of the property.
Rick S. from Derwood, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2012 Had a very nice stay. Second time at Wildwood Lodge, great location and a fair price. Would stay again at a similar price point for a one week stay over Christmas to New Years. Love the ski-in ski-out local, nice bus stop out front, and love the Jacuzzi, although need to balance out the one high pressure nozzle. Thanks again for a nice stay!
Derek H. from Port Alberni, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2012 have been coming to whistler for past 25 years both summer and whistler the Wildwood is an exellent place to stay
Roger H. from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2012 The Wildwood Lodge facilities were lovely. This was our first time to visit Whistler and the office staff was friendly and extremely helpful, showing us how to get around.
A guest from Marianna, AR recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2012 It was slightly smaller that we were expecting or were use to for a 2 bed, 2 bath. But overall everything was very nice. It was very clean and the people were great.
Pawel K. from Warszawa, Mazowieckie recommends this property. Stayed for 11 days in February, 2012 The Lodge represent a good value for the price paid. To optimize it even further the 110 room should be rented by 6 people not 4 like in our case. Very good location - short walking and/or skiing distance to lifts, short walk to Whistler main town. Garage included. WiFi worked very well. We have been assisted by the management in purchasing lifts tickets. Overall they are nice and helpful people.
Mary T. from Shanty Bay, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2012 Enjoyed the hot tub with mountain view every afternoon, great way to relax. Would have appreciated being asked if we needed anything from housekeeping, no towel changes over a 5 day period. Kitchen well equiped, we used our own coffee, but ran out of sugar packets suppled by lodge.
A guest from Seattle, WA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2011 This was not the best or worst rental. Location is great. Rooms and cleanliness are average.
Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. This is unusual as the owners of this property take pride in keeping it in excellent condition. Also not sure why the "services from rental manager" would rate a 3 when we have a 7 day a week front desk operation on site and our staff are instructed to deal with all guest matters in a prompt and efficient manner. No complaints were noted for thiis reservation so it does not warrant a low score of 3. Others have commented on the same property -"We always enjoy staying at the Wildwood & would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced condo close to the slopes"This is a prime location at any time but especially in the winter, and without paying prime rates. This guest got a summer price for a winter time. Manager
A guest from North Saanich, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2009 The units small space is well designed and fits 4 people comfortably. The living room area is drafty to sleep in so you must turn up the thermostat before going to sleep. The kitchen equiped with good quality dishes, pots and pans and appliances. The hot tub is easy to get to and very nice. The ski in ski out is a bit of a stretch, but not a difficult walk. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Overall, our stay was comfortable and we would stay there again.
Luke S. from Creswell Worksop, Nottinghamshire recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in January, 2009 Excellent Holiday and a wonderful place to 's the homey touches make it so comforting after a hard day on the slopes. Being on the lower floor we had excellent room to play with our 22 month nephew in the snow on the patio/garden.The front desk staff were really welcoming and helped us with everything from eating out to good places to snowboard.
