Great location, just a short walk or cross country ski to Blackcomb ski lift and lodge area. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms where not new, but equipment and bedding and rooms were clean. |

Wildwood 308 A guest from Surrey, BC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2013 The design of the unit is excellent as is the location. The beds were terrible and should not be offered for rent. They should have been replaced a long time ago. The fridge was so noisy that we had to turn it off at night. The extra linen was dirty from previous use. We found this out because we had to abandon the master bed for the sofa bed. The staff was friendly and the kitchen was well stocked. |

Wildwood Lodge - President Day weekend Heather C. from Langley, BC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2012 The staff was friendly at check in and phone to make sure that we had directions and let us know the highway conditions. However, once checked in did not see much of them at the front desk and were unable to help us with towels for the hot tub. The condition of the condo was not clean, there were dirty dishes in the cupboard and we found evidence of mice in the bathroom. There were no towels for the hot tub and because there were five of us, we ended using all the towels for showers and needed to reuse for the hot tub. The sheets were very old and the mattresses were uncomfortable. For the price, I would not recommend this accomodation. Property Manager Response: Response from Peak to Green Accommodations Inc. Wow!! These remarks are totally unfair in many ways. The front desk is open from 8AM to 8PM and RARELY is there not someone available to help guests. As managers of the front desk, we used to provide towels for the hot tub. That was until we realized that it cost us close to $10,000 per year just to launder them. Guests can also request clean or fresh towels at any time and rarely is there a charge. If the guest had mentioned the cleaning deficiencies, they would have been looked after immediately. The remark about evidence of mice is hard to understand as there has been no other evidence reported all winter, and it is rare that mice would frequent a bathroom. They go where there are food scraps and that would be in the kitchen area. The sheets are replaced when they start to look old and tired, and our inventory is continually being turned over. We have had complaints about mattresses in other properties, when the mattresses were new so often it is because they are not what the guest is used to at home. Manager. |

To get to the chairlift, it was a 300-400M walk and pole. To get home it was a good 300M walk.Good location to black home village and shops and food. |

Another happy stay at the Wildwood Lodge Patrick M. from Victoria, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2009 For my family, this was our twelfth annual ski trip with accommodation at Wildwood (actually, two visits this ski season). The site is ideal, the service is excellent and, although the furniture and appliances in some of the condo units are showing their age, the units remain very comfortable. The indoor/outdoor hot tub is wonderful!Special credit for the great service should go to the young woman named Kara (don't know her surname) who is at the front desk much of the time we are there. |

Stayed for 5 days in December, 2008 Wildwood Lodge is in a quiet location away from the noise and bustle of the village. However, with a bus stop right outside, access is easy to all areas in reasonable time.The accommodations are clean and well appointed although showing signs of wear. They could use a refurbish but I was more comfortable using everything without worrying if we cause the first scratch or dent on anything.The Management at the Lodge were marvellous. Very helpful in every way. While not available 24 hours a day, they made sure we knew where everyting was, answered all questions, made suggestions to improve our holiday and catered to every need - even going out of their way to send our Christmas Tree and decorations off for recycling.It's not five star - but who wants to clomp around in ski boots with kids in five star furnishings? Very comfortable and just the ticket for family holidays. |
