Noisy! A guest from San Carlos, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 There was no air conditioning and there were few windows that opened, so it was very hot - especially in the upstairs master. There were thankfully several fans, but these were insufficient for the weather. There were a number of oddities, like no bath mat (but plenty of towels), minimal kitchen ware (mismatched silverware, glasses, etc., no cookie sheet, no BBQ spatula, etc.) But it was so hot that cooking wasn't really something we wanted to do a lot of. It was extremely noisy due to take-offs and landings at nearby airport lasting until well after 11 PM and beginning before 6 AM. Also garbage trucks nearly every day for nearby restaurants. Couldn't close what windows there were to keep the noise down as it was too hot inside. Positives were three bathrooms (nice cuz we had six people), nearness to Mission Beach and Mission Bay (both a block or two away), lots of nearby restaurants for eat in or take out, nightly fireworks at Sea World were fun to watch, In sum, would not rent here again. Everything worked, but maintenance & kitchen outfitting left a lot to be desired and it was way too noisy and hot. |
