One of the older homes, it has been a labor of love as periodic remodeling takes place. The entry and kitchen are new as is the master bath. A brand new deck provides for comfortable seating to watch the sunset. The hot tub is uniquely perfect. A few yards from the master bedroom, across new landscaping, the hot tub is implanted directly over the ocean in its own little wind-protected perfectly landscaped nook. This is where the magic is.

I think it is a bit dated, but the view over rides that. I would love to see a reclining sofa. It is a small home but that would be more comfortable if you want to lay down or be comfortable with 2 people. we got along just fine tho. It seemed a bit dusty on the window seats and the accompanying pillows. The hot tub was great and pretty private. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2012 It's a wonderful location, right above the beach with pretty much 180 degrees view of the coast. If the whales are there and the sea is calm, you should be able to see them. Unfortunately we didn't...probably because of the time of year. The only problem we encountered were the many steps up and down in the house. If you have an older guest with you, that can be a problem. We did and she tripped a couple of times. All in all it was a great stay. |

Iwas a little taken aback that there was no salt , pepper, sugar, kleenix. I'm used to bringing my supplies but this house was very bare. I couldn't find any serving bowls for vegetables (side dishes) or Salad bowl..only 1 small platter. I couldn't get the heating element out on the stove top to wipe the catch pans clean, tho we didn't spill anything. It was a good week and I would stay there again tho I usually rent a bigger house to accomodate more family. See you again sometime this year I'm sure. The stars were amazing! |

They took care of all our needs. The house was an older home that has had some upgrades done like the master bathroom, and the kitchen. There were a few things that needed to be fixed as far as the house. Our list had mostly small things like the stopper in the tub didn't work, things of that nature. But for the price and the location, this place can't be beat. The views were absolutely stunning. I would recommend this property and agency to anyone. We will be back. |

Deer and bunnies in the yard, whales from the living room. The perfect place for a romantic honeymoon. Two minor points of advise: 1. There needs to be a little kindling with the firewood. I saw that several people had a problem with getting the wood to burn. 2. Having current pamphlets with info about the region would be helpful. Finding restaurants and events would have been a bit easier. Otherwise everything was better than you could hope for. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2010 We normally stay in the Bellagio and this was a little less expensive but way over priced for what you got. Great view and great hot tub!! Some TLC fo the path for the hot tub would be nice, some cheap stepping stones so you don't sink into the mud for example. Family room furniture was like the Salvation Army. The couch and chairs in family room were old and uncomfortable. Coffee table was a relic, throw away or use for fire wood. Lamps had no shades or were falling apart and rickety. Curtain rod over TV is broken when you open curtain, the rod moves with the curtain and comes apart. Bugs in lights in master bath above tub and shower. Great comfy bed and nice master bathroom even though shower door is ruining the tile door frame. Nice dining table, and deck furniture. Although the overall house was clean, it was the details that were overlooked. For example heating vents were filthy in family room, ant frozen in ice tray, spider web and spider on lamp in family room. It seems like a work in progress and a little money on furniture and lamps would really help this place seem worth the money. It has so much potential with the awesome view. I'll wait for the Bellagio to be available next time, we took a chance for our anniversary this time but we won't stay in this house again. I hope the feedback helps. Maureen Hunter, Andrew's wife. |

The view of the ocean and the Point Arena Lighthouse is superb. The close up interaction of wildlife is fantastic. Deer, many species of birds, rabbits, even the moles which occasionally poke their heads up are easily viewed from this location. From time to time we have spotted seals and whales from this vantage point. Sitting on the deck enjoying a glass of wine and the beautiful sunsets has to be one of life?s greatest enjoyments. |

Everything was great, except the house was not very clean. There was mouse feces all over the house and dog hair on the window cushions. We normally would sit at the window and look over the ocean, but the hair got on our clothes and was disgusting. We didn't want to walk barefooted for fear of stepping on feces. We called the front office and they had someone clean, but you could tell it was a fast job and not thorough. We loved the house and we love it up there, but a walk through should be done before quests arrive. |

This was our fifht time in Irish Beach and the first one on Nebenzahl. The house was clean and beautiful. We had a blast. We have to mention a minor details. The laundry room did not have Clorox. This was very important if we wanted to keep the clothes and house extra clean. Some of whe windows's shatters did not work, the blender needs to be upgraded same as the stove that has 2 burners that dont work. My husband fixed a light outside and a window in the second bathroom that did not lock. This is not a complaint. We think that overall the property is great and we thank the property manager for been so helpful and corteous. We'll be back. |

Suggest building in the Jacuzzi fee into rental price and removing the damage fee entirely - perhaps in lieu of a security deposit. Why are renters charged a non-refundable damage fee before they've damaged anything? Doesn't make sense. Online reservation process isn't as effective as it could be. It should charge the actual amount of the rental w/o the additional back & forth needed to adjust the charge to a credit card for promotional offers (e.g., free night, reduced off peak rates, etc). |

Summer fog at Irish Beach Rex P. from South Lake Tahoe, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2008 Even though we had the summer fog we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nebenzahl. The view is awesome, the house is comfortable and perfect for four adults. We enjoyed watching the wildllife and the ocean from the windowseats and wished that we had not forgotten our binoculars (there were none at the house). Loved the hot tub, great privacy, multiple jets and awesome location-view from tub (a bit chilly running back to the house but worth it!). We were dissapointed that we couldn't use the jacuzzi tub because the faucet kept getting clogged with heavy debris from the plumbing ?, hot water heater? The showerhead in the master bedroom bath also kept getting clogged with some of the same debris, but we were able to clean it out enough to use. It was nice to find a preset fire(wood was dry, firestarter material worked great for our other fires) in the fireplace, great atmosphere! We were surprised to find that even though the wifi was available there was a ten dollar per day charge. One last recommendation would be to have more microwaveable containers: the plates and cups in the cabinets got EXTREMELY HOT if microwaved. Overall, our stay at Nebenzahl was great and it provided us with the relaxing break from routine that we were looking for. The staff at the office were very polite and helpful. We would definetly rent this house again (and would bring our binoculars). |

Our little of family of 3 had plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Our time at the house was spent curled up on the window seat reading and admiring the view or in the HOT TUB. We would be hard pressed to envision a more perfect setting. 2 areas of suggested upgrades: only 2 burners on the stove worked and made cooking slightly challenging and the bedrooms could use some curtains/better blinds, as the sun rises early and so will you. All in all a great stay in a beautiful place. |

Stayed for 6 days in March, 2008 The Neb house, we called it, is loated atop a beautiful bluff as close as you can get to the Pacific at that location. The piture window is a spectacular place to just relax and watch the ocean, although we were vigilant,no whales were spotted. The short walk to the beach is a great way to start your day, especially on the return. You can walk along the beach for six miles or just explore the tide pools. The house itself is an older comfortable model with all the amenities you would need for a great get away. The VCR is not working as we found out after renting movies, but we quikly got over it while enjoying the hot tub which is perched over the oean, what a view! The master bedroom is very nice as is the master bath. The guest bath has lighting issues, but again, we were not there to hang in the bathroom. All in all the house is a great value and we enjoyed every minute of our vacation at the Neb house! |

It is perfect for a group of friends or just the 2 of you for a romantic getaway! The hot tub is only a few steps away overlooking the ocean! The fireplace is well stocked & very cozy! The master bedroom has a tub for 2 & back door to the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed ( except the food & wine :) the large deck was perfect for brunch. We had a few deer visitors as well. Most places like this are way over priced! The accomodations, the view, & the price are perfect! |
