A guest from Warwick, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2016 Solid condo. For the price and location it was great. Beds were comfy and all furniture was in good condition. There were a few unique amenities that added a certain level of pa-nosh to the experience. For instance, the range is some kind of hybrid grill stove contraption, no doubt a relic left behind by those among "The Greatest Generation" that sort of gets hot on the grill side, but not really enough to cook anything. The toaster won my heart with its ability to toast only one side of a piece of bread. Because I don't want to give away and spoilers, I wont say which side of the toaster possesses this magical ability to perfectly toast the butt pieces of bread. Finally there was the balcony in the condo. Upon pulling down the ladder to access this upper oasis, we discovered a strange single twin mattress and pillow at the far end. Our anthropologist in the group was unable to determine the purpose of this single mattress, because it was located in this crawl space balcony it would not be used for normal recreational sleep. Current theories suggest that the space was maybe once used for mating purposes or to detain those suffering from "Mountain Madness". Some theories argue that perhaps the mattress always has been and always will be or that it may be able to open some kind of temporal time portal to alternate realities. Such is yet to be proven and perhaps the mystery of the mattress is one that man was not meant to answer, but I digress... Overall, the condo was great and the staff were always available to answer questions. I would definitely stay here again.
A guest from Broomfield, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2016 The staff at Summit Rentals was fantastic. The unit itself could really use a little TLC. The couch is very worn as well as the carpet and bedding. A fresh coat of paint would also work wonders. But our stay overall was great.
Property Manager Response: Response from Summit Mountain Rentals Thank you for your feedback Melissa! I appreciate your feedback and have forwarded your recommendations onto our maintenance team.
A guest from Friendswood, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2014 Condo is outdated. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. Furniture in living area is old and worn out and in need of replacement. Not enough room in living area for 4 people to sit comfortably.
Property Manager Response: Response from Summit Mountain Rentals Teresa--I can see that you reserved this unit on line based on pictures, proximity to slopes. It is described as a moderate unit and priced accordingly--we certainly have units in our portfolio that might be more of what you were looking for. You may call us anytime to speak with a front desk agent to make sure we understand just what you are looking for in a vacation rental.
A guest from Denver, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2014 Overpriced for the condition of the property.
Property Manager Response: Response from Summit Mountain Rentals Thanks for your feedback. This is advertised as a moderate unit. We do have units that range from moderate to luxury and our staff would more than happy to help you find one that would suit you better.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2013 Great location, great staff .... Bad beds, small bathroom, hard lock .... THIRD FLOOR !!! Uuufff !!! Nice view from balcony .... I would go back to a first floor unit !!! :)
Property Manager Response: Response from Summit Mountain Rentals We agree! Great location--we think this is a great value and one of our more popular units. Please know that we are constantly updating items such as beds in all of our units and hope that you'll return again soon.
A guest from Mobile, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2013 Place was pretty cosey I especially liked the woo burning fireplace. The beds however were extremely uncomfortable
Property Manager Response: Response from Summit Mountain Rentals The wood burning fireplace and great location of this unit makes it very popular with our guests--thanks for noticing. We frequently update items in all of our properties including beds and really appreciate the feedback.
A guest from Wilmette, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2012 The place was in a fantastic location and very clean. It does need a little repair - broken towel rail, ripped bedspread, stained blankets and the lights flicked on/off in the twin bedroom. But otherwise I would stay there again.
Property Manager Response: Response from Summit Mountain Rentals We really do appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve. I very much agree that this unit is in a great location and we work very hard to make sure each unit is thoroughly cleaned and inspected before and after each guest. We have addressed each of the issues that you have pointed out-some of the normal wear and take we take great care in minimizing each season.
A guest from Stonehem, MA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2012 We came out with our 2 & 3 yrd old kids. Twin beds were ideal for them. The kitchen was nice, but there was no table to sit at-just extremely tall stools that were not even the right height for adults to sit at the kitchen island. The kids just stood at the coffee table for meals :-)
Joseph R. from Seminole, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in February, 2012 have been skiing Breck for about 20 yrs. always use the same rental company. they always give usgood service and the best rates possible. thanks Joe
Niamh f. from Round Rock, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2011 The property is advertised as a 6 person condo however it is not suitable for 6. The pull out sofa is extremely uncomfortable and the living and dining area does not have enough seating for 6. The overall decor is dated and could do with updating. Location is great and very near the bus.
A guest from Harrison, AR recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2010 The condo was even nicer than expected, clean and well appointed. The check-in personnel seemed understaffed and a bit frazzled but were quick to let us go ahead and check-in, even though the condo had not been inspected yet. The sofa bed was uncomfortable, but aren't they all. Shuttle bus was right outside our door and the last stop before Peaks 7 and 8; fast to and from the slopes! For the price, I would stay there again.
Niamh f. from Round Rock, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2010 Our Condo was great but could have done with more seating. It was listed as being able to accommodate 6. We had 4 and just had enough seating. Location was great. Really quiet place and seconds from the free bus.
Liz F. from Broomfield, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2009 This wasn't the place that we were told we were getting, I was given a link to look at pictures of the place before I got there and this was a different unit all together. The unit that we had was GREAT we may have be upgraded but we were never told anything. We all had such a great time, we will be back for sure!
