COOL DEAL! September through May, excluding holiday periods, EVERY 3rd NIGHT FREE! June through August, non-holidays, EVERY 5th NIGHT FREE! Architectural delight in meadow setting with ocean views. Truly a beautiful home decorated perfectly!

This beautifully designed home (by one of Northern California's most renown architects) features beautifully finished wood floors, cabinets, interior doors, and window sills. The ceiling has high open beams with perfectly placed skylights. Lovely blue water views across open space meadows are available from the kitchen, back deck (off a lovely garden), living area and master bedroom. There is another interior garden which is accessible from the master bedroom bathroom and the 2nd guest bedroom. The hot tub is located within the interior garden area. The master bath has a large open tiled shower complete with dual shower heads. The kitchen has all of the necessary amenities and much more, including double ovens and a professional cooking stove. The house is spectacular in its attention to design and detail. Come and enjoy.

Best experience with VRBO so far. First trip to California, and now we can't wait to go back. Everything was beyond expectations. Wonderful management quick to respond. Great house - first time renting it and loved it. Before we came we wanted to make sure we had a house with a spa, which we requested, and the spa was broken during the whole stay - so that was the one big downside. Aside from that, the stay was great and the house was excellent.

Cypress is a wonderful home. The kitchen has about every pot, pan or utensil you need to cook or bake anything! We like to eat at home most of the time, so that was very helpful. The large picture windows were wonderful for bird watching and critter sightings. We had a hot water problem the first couple of days, but that was taken care of in a very professional way.

The house is gorgeous with vaulted ceilings, skylights everywhere, a spacious ocean-facing deck and the gorgeous master bedroom suite. The house has everything one may need - from a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen to beach chairs. Beautiful fire place, great jacuzzi in a Japanese-style inner garden. And have I mentioned an access to a nearby private beach? Truly enjoyed! Will be coming back. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

My new husband and I were very pleased with how well-equiped and well-designed the house was, down to the gourmet waffle-maker! What a great selection of movies, too. We greatly enjoyed the hot-tub, walk-in shower, beautiful gardens and abundant bird life. The couch definitely needs replacing- it is so shabby it looked out-of-place. The tile in the bathroom needs some kind of slip-proof treatment. I actually slipped and fell on the wet tile our last day there. Fortunately, no serious injury, but for an older person, it could have been. We hope to come back on our anniversary next year. Thanks for sharing this beautiful home.

and a delightful experience with nice amenities. The house is well furnished and offers beautiful flooring and rugs. The owners have selected furniture and decorative pieces that make this house special. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was an ample supply of wood to build a fire during our stay because it rained most of the time. Our spirits weren't dampened when we saw some deer enjoying the meadow outside our windows. Because it was Christmas, the house was decorated with lights which made it very festive. The only improvement necessary would be a corner shelf in the master bathroom to put the soap when showering. Also, it could be slippery without a mat. We look forward to another time inthis beautiful house with its unique features and comfort.

Love this place. Love being here. Would like to live here. Certainly would recommend it. Set up for more than the tree of us. Well appointed for cooking. Garden, feeding many birds, watching deer, ocean from a distance, lavender, design, access to outdoors from all rooms, beds (great mattresses - would like to find out what they are and get some for our house.) Curtain/drape in second bedroom needs repair (same as last year). Can't open in to see garden in daytime. Also couch in living room has tears. (This not a problem but would be better to have it repaired.) Will stay here again when we want to visit Irish Beach.

I liked the house, but the booking schedule prevented my receiving the 5 nights for the price of 4 deal. Secondarily my request that the additional night be added to my next booking was refused. This seems like little regard for a renter who has spent almost $50,000.00 renting Irish beach houses. Are others shown such little regard?

Overall the house and stay were fabulous!! Loved the house and was truly able to get away from it all! The deer came by, watched quail parents with their babies. A wonderful place to escape. A problem my kids encountered, but didn't matter to me was two of the TV's were having problems with the dish. There were also ants. Both issues, very easy to rectify!!!

Beautiful Property...Stay if You Don't Mind a Few Ants

The property is gorgeous. We saw the insde of several others, and it was by far the most gorgeous property. The bed in the master was like floating on a cloud. Many wonderful things about the property. However, it has ants. There are ant traps in the house, but there are still ants. Some here and there, not a huge amount. But enough here and there, to crawl on your foot, on the table, in the loft. Even saw one in the bed. Didn't get bitten, but the ants did detract from our experience. My reading the guest book, we are not the only ones this has happened to. I think they need an exterminator. Again, a truly beautiful home, many wonderful things about it...and unfortunately some ants.

Over the years I have stayed in several of the houses at Irish Beach. It is a great place to just get away and relax. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The Cypress house is well designed and in reading the 'house diary' the owners have taken the suggestions of guests and have made the house even nicer.

Many days there were deer in the yard and one morning a bobcat. The architecture and layout of the house were wonderful. I especially loved the open, walk-in shower in the master bath. Would definitely stay there again.

I surprised my fiance with a weekend away at the Cypress house. I had been to Irish Beach many times with my family over the years but we had never stayed in this house. It was more than I had hoped for. The house was full of daylight with all the skylights, and had many options for lighting at night. The view was great from the master bedroom, and we both enjoyed sitting by the fire. I will definetly come back to this house again.

If this house ever went up for sale then I would be extremely interested in it! I also would like to say how helpful Kim in the office was when I had to keep e-mailing her for information about various items that I was inquiring about. She was always very pleasant to chat with and I liked how she was very prompt to reply.
