We had a wonderful time and could not have been happier with the rental! The ONLY reason I gave a 4 on cleanliness was that there were a couple crabs in the pool I removed for the kids! This is probably common so near the beach! It was beautiful and perfect! We WILL be back!!

Overall we were satisfied with our stay. There were a few areas in the condo that could have used more attention during cleaning however. The walking distance to the beach was very short compared to other condos we've stayed in. Very friendly staff. We plan on returning!!

My daughter and I stayed at the Carribbean for 5 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. The condo was clean and decorated beautifully. The view from the balcony was terrific, and it was so nice to finally have a comfortable bed on vacation! We will definitely be staying here again next summer - Thank you!

We arrived at the condo about 8:30pm after being in the car all day when we got to the condo the elevator was broken, and when you are on the 6 th floor that's a problem! We lugged all our stuff and two little girls up 12 flights of stairs. The condo was ok, it could definatly use a face lift. The things that bothered me were, the matress pads on the bunk beds had not been washed, they had hair on them. Also the surrounding walls to the bunks were just nasty, dirty. Then the shower curtain had mold growing on it. The whole time we were there I just felt like it wasn't clean. When they did get the elevator working it was nasty too! It had water puddles in it from everyone coming in from the pool, no ventilation in it at all. If you are just looking for a reasonable beach condo and don't care about it being clean, then go for it! It is right on the beach and it has decent furniture.

Very disappointed in the elevator. Numerous problems. Had to carry luggage and personal items down six stories of stairs when leaving.Was very disappointed with your smoking policy. I have asthma problems. Neither I or my 9 year old granddaughter could sit on the balcony because of the smoke. I believe that you should have a designated smoking area downstairs only.Mr wife, granddaughter and I love sitting on the balcony, especially at night and also leaving the patio door open to listen to the water. However, due to the smoke, both day and night,we could not sit outside or leave the door open for the smoke.I feel that none smoking people are cheated for what they get at the condo if they have to deal with smoking people ruining their visit.Again, I believe that you shoud have a designated smoking area somewhere down around the parking area and not anywhere around the rooms.Smoking on the patios or rooms is also a potential fire hazard depending on how people dispose of their smoking materials. They will usually drop them in a trash container when they are done.I am a certified national fire investigator and have been for 30 years. This is truly a potential disaster for the owners and guests at the condo. It only takes one unresponsible person for a disaster. You add heavy drinking to that and it makes it 100% worse.Carelessy discarded smoking materials causes severe property damage and loss of life every year around the country. I hope you will think about this seriously and think about my reccomendation.Respectfully!Greg Rudell

We had a wonderful time in this unit! It was perfect for our family. Being that it isn't a large property, the beach and pools were not very crowded. The elevator went out on several occasions, and it was quite difficult to climb 6 flights of stairs with three small children and our belongings. We had to clean the condo a little ourselves - the baby was finding old food in the carpet and trying to eat it! There was an old bar of soap in the shower, etc. Overall, this was a great unit with an amazing view and Bender was wonderful to work with.

The location is absolutely perfect. Easy to get to and I like being on the 6th floor where we have a view of the ocean as far as you can see! The ladies at Bender Realty are always very pleasant to work with. I would certainly recommend this unit to my family and friends. A few things on the downside- the sleeper sofa could use a new mattress, the elevator down button was not working quite right and we found a drinking cup under the bunk bed mattress when we first made up the bed, so it was there before we were. These are all things that can be remedied easily.

This location was perfect- all of the balconies at this location face the beach. I was waiting for the "hidden costs" that accompany a rental, there were none. We were extremely pleased with the location, the amenities (the younger kids love the pool), and Bender Realty. We can't wait to go back. Thank you! P.S. Wonderful condo, very much my taste. We have visited Gulf Shores for the last six yrs - usually we go to the Pheonix condos. I actually liked this smaller condo better. I liked the associates that I booked with and I think that made the diffrence. The downside to that is the Brett Robinson does always offer the extra night free. Pay 3- stay 4. The only actual problem we had was the room was a little dirty. Dishes were dirty right out of the cabinet, so I had to wash them and also the more disturbing was the bathroom in the bedroom. Floor and tub very dirty. I had to clean the tub before we could shower. Black hair in it (long and short) that of course was not ours. Ewww. Floor still had razor covers on it and hair everywhere. I liked the condo a lot so I would return if it could be a little cleaner. I did way to much cleaning to be on a vacation away from our four kids. Thanks for asking our opinion. Get a new housekeeper and I would rate it great.

We really enjoyed our stay at Caribbean. The staff was extremely helpful. The decor in room 603 was very nice. I like having carpet as it keeps the room from echoing so much. Good size pool for the kids to play. Not too far of a walk to the beach from the condo. Will stay again!

We stayed April 2nd thru the 8th, 2010. Unit 603 is extremely well furnished and up to date, making the stay that much more comfortable. The building seems much more intimiate than it is and it made for a very quiet and relaxing vacation. We will be back for years to come!

Good location. Nice to have an indoor and outdoor pool. The condo itself was fine, however, the master bath could have been cleaner. The bath rug in the master bath looked like it hadn't been washed in quite some time. The closet doors behind you while looking in the mirror were covered with hair spray etc. And the baseboards in the bathroom need attention. The kitchen was great, lots of pans, dishes etc. The beach there is beautiful. Really needs to have a deep clean of the master bath, of no fault of the owners.

We could not access any free wireless internet, which was a real let-down. Unfortunately, I will not stay in this unit again because of that. I rarely have to pay for internet when I travel and was disappointed that I had to do so here. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.

The only major negative thing I could say about our stay is about the elevator. I was already concerned about this before arriving because of what I had read in a couple of other reviews. The elevator was slow and iffy at times and did eventually quit working one day. Other than that we loved it!

This was our very first time visiting Gulf Shores. A friend recommended that we stay at a Bender location since that is who they use. We fell in love with Caribbean 603 and will be back next year! We loved the smaller condo, loved the location and amenities, and were happy with the Bender staff. The only thing that was wrong with the condo unit was a few matainence issues. The curtain rod above the sliding glass door was barely hanging in the wall - we were afraid to touch the curtains for fear of them falling. The bathroom closet door was off the tracks - no big deal. It was still usable. The headboard in the master bedroom was also detached from the wall. Again, no big deal, we just didn't want to be blamed for it. Other that that, we had a great time. Thank you for helping to make our first family vacation a very enjoyable time. See you next year!

Condo was very clean and had a wonderful view, beautiful decor and comfy seating. Not very baby friendly but that was okay, it has alot of breakable, easy to topple and hard metal furniture that made easy injuries (my toddler is only 14 months old and he falls alot as he is learning to walk) but that is no fault of the condo's, it never specified that it was baby friendly. My only complaint is the condition of the window treatments over the sliding door to the balcony, they were about to fall out of the wall which I was scared that it was going to fall on our kids but it never did and I am sure that someone will fix them soon if they haven't already. Overall the stay was wonderful and I am sure anyone will have a great experience there.

The Caribbean is in a great location. Located right on the beach. The unit we stayed in was nicely decorated with a wonderful view of the beach from our balcony. The bunkbeds in the hallway were perfect for our two sons. Being a low rise condominum with less units than most other condomiums gave it a more private feeling. I would definatly recommend the Caribbean to those looking for a nice, clean, affordable place to take the family on vacation.

Really, a great place for a quiet and relaxing or even a playful and energetic vacation. From walking the beach and swimming in the Gulf to gorgeous sunsets from our balcony and even to visiting the great restaurants and nite spots, the Caribbean at Gulf Shores will certainly be seeing quite a lot of the Giroir family in the future. Thanks for a great stay.

The only problem we had was that the elevator quit working several times...and at inconvenient times like when we were carrying up luggage, groceries etc... It was many long trips up the steps with all our paraphernalia.
