This four season cottage is newly renovated and in the beautiful Laurentian Mountains[town of Lantier]. Just 20 minutes to Mont Tremblant Resort and 15 minutes to St.Donat. In the winter months they offer: alpine and cross-country skiing, ski lessons for all levels and ages, snowshoeing (tube sliding@Tremblant and St.Sauveur). In the warmer months, Mont Tremblant has golfing, a private beach, mountain biking and outdoor entertainment. There are wonderful restaurants, fine dining or casual, and unique shops in the village. The cottage is near the town of Saint Agathe[15 minutes], it has all services and major stores and many types of restaurants. At your leisure you can take a short drive to the quaint towns of St. Donat, Val David, Val Morin, St. Jovite and St. Sauveur. You can enjoy many sports right outside your cottage door, on the lake or in the woods. On the large lake, Lac de-la-Montagne Noir[with a sand bottom], you can X-Country ski, snow shoe, ice skate, ice fish or snow mobile. In the summer months you can swim, boat, fish, or take a hike or mountain bike ride. In the fall, the colors of the trees are breathtaking. From the living room and large front/side deck, you have a panoramic view of the lake and mountains. The cottage is only 75 minutes from Montreal.
This comfortable four-bedroom cottage is tastefully decorated and fully equipped. The modern kitchen has all new stainless appliances including a dishwasher.
The living room has a TV, DVD player, CD/radio stereo and wood-burning fireplace. Firewood is included in the rental.
On the main floor there are two bedrooms with queen beds and a bathroom with a shower, hair dryer and stackable washer/dryer.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one large room with 2 twin beds and one private bedroom with one twin bed. There is also a playroom/den with a TV,DVD,computer,futon and desk. There is a bathroom with a shower and hair dryer. All bedrooms have warm down comforters and three bedrooms have ceiling fans. There is also a fan over the kitchen table. A new enclosed porch for dining is being added in Nov.09.
There is a new dock and a pier. There are 2 kayaks, 1 canoe[3 person],1 pedal boat, 1 rowboat and 10 life jackets available, weather permitting. There are plenty of outdoor tables and games, chairs, loungers, bicylces and there's also a picnic table. Under cover outdoors, there's a BBQ and extra refrigerator [not in the winter]. Everything you could need or want is at Chalet Mon Reve. There is a large DVD collection, toy box filled with board games, Playstation 3 and Nintendo with games for both systems. The view on the lake is incredible and it's beautiful all year around. The cottage was just rated 4 stars [out of 5] by the CITQ in 2009.

There is NO SMOKING and NO PETS allowed[will consider a small dog with pet cleaning fee/deposit]. Two night minimum required. Summer months, weekly rentals only. We will consider 8 people if there are children. Futon can be used for one child. Rates can vary by season, # of people or amount of nights rented. Call ASAP for special rates and information. Winter seasonal rental available from Dec.-April.
References and damage deposit required. Property directions and complete instructions will be sent out with booking.
