200 yr old Cognac gite/cottage

Our Cognac gite/cottage is just perfect for 2 people who want their own private terrace giving peace & quiet but would also like the benefits that a gite complex can bring.Situated to the rear of La Pommeraie this gite can accommodate 2 people in comfort but by using the sofa bed it gives the option to sleep an extra 2.From the bedroom window you can see the Cognac vines,hence the name.Weve also decorated it out with artifects from the cognac/wine industry,as this plays a significant role in the local economy.
Double french doors open up into the open plan lounge/dining area.Terracotta floor tiles run through Cognac keeping it cool in the summer months.A ceiling fan will also help to keep the living area a pleasant temperature.
Into the kitchen & you'll find everything that you will need to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible.To the right of the kitchen a door way leads into the shower room.Here you will find a large body massaging shower that will no doubt take the aches & strains away leaving you feeling refreshed.Also a toilet & glass sink.
Throughout Cognac we have left all of the beautiful stone walls exposed along with the hefty oak beams overhead.
To oneside of the lounge a door leads into a nicely furnished double bedroom.
Outside a terrace with table & chairs are for your private use along with a BBQ.
The pool is set in a 200yr old stone walled courtyard full of lavender,citrus blossom & Olive trees giving you a touch of the mediterranean.A plentyfull amount of sunloungers are situated on the southfacing terrace that recieves nearly all day sun.Along side the pool a large table & chairs are positioned to enjoy alfresco dining after a dip in the water.We've provided a large gas BBQ right nearby for convenience.
Mountain bikes,tabletennis,table football,darts,badminton,football & boules are all FREE for everybody to use.
