Welcome to Capul Island. Our new guest house is now complete and ready for guests. Our island unlike the rest of the Philippines, where life is slower and the people are real. We have no cars on our island and you have to get there by boat (it's a big one), we also have no traffic, pollution, or malls, and if you are looking for night life this isn't the place for you. If you want to rest and relax go for walks on miles of beaches, snorkel (we have beautiful coral gardens right off our white sand beach, as well as a wreck) There are 2 caves to explore on the other side of the island as well as WW 2 Japanese war bunkers located at the historical Light House, and also the oldest Church in the Visayas, and a Watch Tower that is over 400 years old.
We offer 2 rooms with queen beds and aircon for only $20US/night/room, and we do give discounts for longer stays. Our main house is now on

Due to demand we have built another 4-room guest house on the beach, 3 of the rooms have 2 double beds, while one (the lovers room) has 1 queen bed and an extra window. These are meant for overnight or weekend guests as there are no kitchen facilities, aircon or fan, but they only cost 500 Pesos/Night or 3000 Pesos/Week/Room and have a cool breeze coming in. There is only power on Capul from 4PM until Midnight.

Take an airplane from Manila Domestic airport to Catarman, Northern Samar, take a tricycle to the bus terminal. Take a Jeepney to Allen bus terminal, then you can take a tricycle to town and do some shopping. Then take a tricycle to the pier to catch the boat to Capul, it leaves around noon. When you get to Capul (1 hour later), tell the motorcycle driver you want to go to the White House. We have a caretaker there that will greet you (we pay his wages) but tips are appreciated. If maids are required they are available in town. Internet is available with a laptop and an internet USB modem (Smart or Globe)that you can get in Manila, they are prepaid.
