All the rooms in the villa are bright and charming. The first floor consists of an entryway, a large living room with a fireplace and twin-size sofa bed, a kitchen (with all tools provided), a bathroom with a Jacuzzi and shower, a laundry room and a small storage room. The second floor has one large bedroom (with two twin-size beds or one queen-size bed plus one single sofabed), with own bathroom. And there's one smaller bedroom (with two twin-size beds or one queen-size bed plus a bunk bed) with its own bathroom.

The property owners, Alberto and Anna (both corporate persons in the field of electronics), live about 200 yards from the villa in the middle of their own land, while Alessandro, their son, lives with his wife just next door and is available for assistance.

With its central location and general features, Villa Genziana is ideal for those wanting to divide their days between relaxing and sightseeing. Along with the center of Bologna, all the major northern-central Italian art cities are just a stone's throw away. Their property is in the immediate outskirts of Bologna, which makes the center easy to reach (great parking lots, free with bus fare) as well as the fairground, the airport and the highway. As stated in the ad we found large spaces both inside and outside. Everything was very clean, well kept, efficient and furnished with taste, definitely better than what we thought from the photos.
