With the green hills of San Luca just behind, Il Carro is situated right in the middle of a very colorful neighborhood, just a few minutes from the center with excellent round-the-clock public transportation provided and a great municipal swimming pool (heated – open all year) at only 200 mts.. The Reno channel flows across the street and miniature, traditional stores, typical trattorias and flower shops are all around, endowing this property with a special flavour. The airport is at only about 3,5 kms. whereas the train station is 12-13 minutes by bus, which stops right around the corner.

The neighbors are exactly what you would expect in such an affluent and typically Bolognese neighborhood, such as this. They are warm, tongue-in-cheek witty, helpful people with a special inclination for "il forestiero" ("the foreigner").

Il Carro is composed of two main living spaces, one a bedroom with a double sofabed and the other a livingroom with a loft (one queen-size bed), plus a hallway, a brand new kitchen, a very functional bathroom (tub with shower) and a balcony overlooking the same courtyard wheelwrights used to shoe horses back in the 1500’s and on. The furniture is comfortable and functional, an air conditioner, a TV set with VCR, a washing machine and a phone with computer plug-in and broadband internet service are provided for your convenience. Free, safe on-street parking is available right in front and rates are probably the best in town.
