Perched above the wide, lazy curve of water, facing west to the redwood ridges and sunset, this tranquil and private setting offers a picturesque backdrop for real relaxation and that getaway feeling.

The north and west walls are almost entirely glass, which creates a light and open atmosphere, and a sense of freedom and flight as you gaze at the osprey, gull, and heron. Every moment spent at Whigmaleery is set against this majestic view. The 1 bedroom is the lower flat of the structure, the top is empty when you are there.

And when looking is not enough, a short flight of stairs leads to your private dock, three kayaks, a row boat and the wild, scenic lower river from Duncans Mills to the ocean.

Inside you will find a beautifully renovated 1 bedroom flat, with finely appointed bedroom, bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen. There is a queen bed in the spacious bedroom and a double futon in the living room.

Encircling the home is 700 sq. ft. of newly constructed, barefoot friendly, Trex decking with bistro table and chairs. Another lower patio has a Weber BBQ grill and more patio seating.

Lodging Tax: 9% , Cleaning Fee: $60.00, pet + $10

Cancellations and Refunds: Because we take the house off the market when your booking is made, we do not have refunds unless we can re-book the house to another guest. We then charge a $75 administrative fee.

Security Deposit: $300, Refundable if there is no damage or extra cleanup work.
