Description:
Beautiful mountain views from this chalet style appartment (60m2) on 3rd floor. Near the World's largest solar furnace. On average there are 300 days of sun per year in Font Romeu - which makes the place the sunniest in Europe! Marked hiking tracks all over the area, lakes and rivers. Font Romeu is the largest town in the Pyrenees you find at this altitude - many shops and restaurants. Spain is about 15 minutes drive and Andorra 30 minutes. Two lovely hot spas nearby (20 min drive) and a skating hall. During winter it is the largest ski-station in the Pyrenees. The appartment is sunny - you can even sunbath in the master bedroom in the bed! The balcony is large enough for two people to take breakfast outside (table and chairs provided), there are three bedrooms one large, and two small ones. The appartment is almost entirely wood panelled with some 18th century furniture. The summer is comfortable at this altitude and Font Romeu was and still is famous as a health resort!
