The ancient Bastide area of the City provides a range of shopping facilities and an excellent market on Saturday mornings. The beaches of the Mediterranean are only 45 minutes by car. Toulouse airport is a 45 minute drive away whilst Perpignan takes approximately 1 hour. The mainline train station, SNCF, is in Carcassonne and buses serve the local area.

The villa is ideally located for a mix of village living with all amenities closes at hand, yet in a quiet and tranquil area from which to explore everything that the area has to offer. The village has all key amenities with a butchers, newsagents, post office, general store / greengrocers and hairdresser / beautician. Several outlets sell bread as well as a bakers van which visits daily. A new pizza / local speciality cafe / restaurant has recently opened for the season and is worth a visit. Major supermarkets of Geant and L'Eclerc are within 10 minutes and close by the airport for stocking up en route.
