Child friendly cottage surrounded by 8 acres and a lake. Very private and quiet and just down the road from Rocky Crest Resort and Golf Club, where we eat at the restaurants. Canoe and boat with motor included, great fishing, impossible not to catch one! Perfect warm sandy shallow swimming area for young children and dingies, rafts and inflatables for older kids. Water is a tannin colour and if you are looking for a deep clear lake this is not it. There is a beaver dam at one end and lots of wild birds including loons and egrets. We have 4 boys and they are busy all day in the water, tree house and massive sand pit/hill. Renovation completed 2012; new deck with barbeque and various outside tables and lounge chairs. A huge living/dining room surrounded with windows with 3 futons/couches and a 10 seater dining table and plenty of chairs. Brand new bathroom with washer and dryer and kitchen.

300$ deposit refunded the day you leave as long as the cottage is in good condition. If you choose to use the motor there is no charge however if the motor is not working at the end of your rental we keep the 200$ deposit. The motor was new two years ago. We include 2 big water jugs, there is a water dispenser. We also include 1 container of gasoline for the boat and propane for the barbeque. A marina is 2 minutes down the road to refill gasoline, water or propane. A country store is a short walk away which is great for the daily paper, milk bread icecreams and kid treats!
Deposit of half the rental is required upon booking and will be fully refunded upon cancellation before May 15th. No refund after that date unless mutually agreed upon. I realize that emergencies come up, but I need to also protect myself from parties making bookings and then just cancelling and leaving us in the lurch.
