Before you even pull in the driveway you catch a glimpse of the mountain and lake view. Once inside Lakeside Retreat, you step into a kitchen that’s stocked with all the equipment for the pickiest cook. Move on to the wide open living room that has leather furniture and a large stone gas fireplace. If you just want to relax there is a big TV and satellite programming. The master bedroom is on the kitchen side. It’s a large bedroom with a private bath that has a jetted tub and shower. The other main level bedroom has a bath just outside the door. Upstairs in the loft is more sleeping space for your large family getaway. The whole cabin is simply but elegantly decorated. Out the back door is a full length deck with several tables that face Laurel Lakes and Young’s Mountain. Meander down the path to your private dock. Bring your fishing pole and relax on the dock, see if the fish are biting. Don’t forget to grap some bread to feed the cabin's mascot, a duck that lives at the lake year ‘round. You can float around the lake in the canoe or swim at the beach. Downstairs is the game room complete with pool table, fosse ball table, game table, games, TV, DVD & VHS player and full bath.
