Unit Description:
La Casella is composed of two levels. On the ground floor there is a large, fully furnished kitchen as well as a utility room. The kitchen has a fireplace which can be used for cooking.
Next to the kitchen there is a wide living area divided into three parts by arches and floors in terra cotta; the first space is used as a dining area, and the other two spaces are living rooms. Comfortable sofas (one of which a sofa bed), and a large fireplace make the perfect setting for memorable evenings with friends and family. An elegant bathroom with bathtub complete the ground floor.
The first floor can be reached via the staircase in the kitchen, or the staircase in the central living room. On this floor. along the wardrobe furnished corridor, are 4 bedrooms, two of which are master bedrooms, and the other two have two single beds and one of the rooms also has a fireplace. Every bedroom has an enchanting view of the island Polvese. Additionally, this floor has two elegant and spacious bathrooms: one with bathtub, the other with shower. Overall Property Description:
Amongst the soft, green hills which surround Lake Trasimeno, is situated La Casella near the town of Monte del Lago 20 km from Perugia.
The restoration of La Casella succeeded in combining modern comfort needs with the ancient structure of the rural home. From the outside, one can see the stones which compose the walls of the house as well as the porch with beams made of wild cherry wood under which the beautiful landscape can be admired together with a fine glass of wine.
The swimming pool, also situated in a panoramic position, offers our guests the possibility to relax, enjoy the sun and the incredible view which Lake Trasimeno and its island have to offer.
The house is surrounded by 1,5 green hectares of olive trees leading to the lake.
The proximity to historical centers such as Perugia, Corciano, Assisi, Gubbio and Cortona makes one??s stay particularly interesting for those who love art and culture as much as nature.
