The tower is situated in Aregai, nearby Marina degli Aregai, a touristic port, between the fashionable city of Sanremo and Imperia.

"We spent our 2 week honeymoon in Torre degli Aregai in January 2009 and couldn't have picked a more beautiful and romantic place. The location was unbelievable –the majestic Seventeenth Century’s Saracen Tower, right on the coast with the most amazing panoramic terrace overlooking the Riviera. Easy walking distance to the great restaurants, shops & cafes in the charming medieval town of Santo Stefano al Mare and an excellent central location for visiting Sanremo, Montecarlo and the beautiful mountain and coastal villages that surround this breathtaking region. Torre degli Aregai is unbelievably beautiful inside and outside. The house and grounds were immaculate and beautifully decorated, filled with exquisite antiques and personal memorabilia. An ideal place for the perfect romantic getaway. Rosana & Claudio (Torre degli Aregai’s owners) couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. The hospitality they showed us was second to none. Thank you Rosana & Claudio for making our stay so wonderful and for everything that you did for us during or stay. We have adopted you both as our Italian family. We would love to return one day and would highly recommend this lovely place to others, especially for an anniversary or honeymoon. Undoubtedly the most charming, romantic place we have ever stayed."
