Description:
Le Cadran Solaire ('the Sundial') is a paradise for art and book lovers, set in a superb 16th century stone farmhouse in the medieval village of Haut de Cagnes. This enchanting stone cottage offers an elegant zen and cosy interior decorated by owners with a diplomatic past, with east-west antiques and original paintings. The ground floor offers a modern Provencal fully equipped kitchen and a separate dining room, both with glass doors opening onto a covered pergola, a large swimming pool, and a barbecue area. Up the steps, on the right, there are two double bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and shower, and a separate toilet. On the left, the living room, with double seating area, has a terrace facing a protected wood zone and offers a view of the mountains. Other features of comfort: a private boule court, parking, internet access, free international phone dialing to most European countries, the US and Canada, supermarket and great bakery within five minutes walk down the steps.
