Chene Vert (sleeps 4) has an open plan living area with feature fireplace and wood-burning stove. The spiral staircase leads up to the bedrooms and shower room. Orchard View (4-6) has 3 bedrooms each with ensuite shower and wc, kitchen/dining and living area. Both have a wealth of features, for example original tile and stone floor, exposed sandstone walls and original oak beams, old stone sink, potager, etc. Excellent tranquil location beside medieval village with amenities including boulangerie, charcuterie, bar, restaurants, etc. Close to all major attractions in this beautiful and historically important part of the world. 5 minutes to Les Eyzies (the European Capital of prehistory and its wonderful caves with 17,000 years old art), 15 minutes to Sarlat (an important medieval town in the Perigord), an hours drive to some great vineyards. This is just a small sample of what is on offer. For the active there are wonderful hills, valleys, chateaux, pretty medieval villages to be discovered by biking, walking, rowing, climbing, hot-air ballooning. Of course for those seeking a more relaxing holiday, all can also be seen by car. At the end of the day why not stop by the pool bar for an appero before heading off to sample the delights of Perigord, gourmet food served as standard in the many restaurants that abound in the area, including foie gras, duck confit, truffles, bordeaux wines, etc.

Bed linen and towels for indoor use included in price. Pool towels may be hired @ 3€ per week if wished.
