Located at the top of the beach park road, this home is surrounded on two sides by private waterfront. Overlooking mangrove islands, watch as egrets and herons soar gracefully in to fish for their supper, see the fish jump as dolphins come through, observe rays swimming by, or drop a line to try and hook a redfish or snook. Head out in our double kayak or a fishing boat to view it all up close. Or just hang out and watch gorgeous sunsets over the water. After all, that's what you came to Florida to enjoy! This is our personal getaway retreat, completely updated this year and decorated in a "Tommy Bahama" island style. Our home sleeps 6 privately and comfortably, and is fully furnished and equipped to meet all your needs for fishing, boating, kayaking, biking, enjoying the beach at the end of our road, and relaxing at home with games, video library, books, toys and games for the kids. Just down the road is historic New Port Richey, beautiful parks, an open ampitheater that features live music. The river district, movies, bowling, laser tag and family game center are all in town. Sun Cruises is just around the corner and the sport fishing and gambling cruise boats. A short drive south is historical Tarpon Springs - a Greek fishing and sponge diving village; Tampa, Clearwater, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island. A short drive north brings you to Homassassa Springs (amazing canoeing/kayaking), Weeki-Wachee, and Silver Springs. For those who need a Disney or Universal fix, it's about an 80 minute drive across I-4 to all the wonders of Orlando, then you can come back to the peace and quiet of home to relax.
