Why the discount at my 5th and 6th floor Lahaina Shores Beach Resort mountain view studios? Times are tough ~~ As a famed hotelier said, "there's nothing more expensive than an empty room." Offer good on bookings departing by 12/16/12.
A lot more than a hotel room, for a lot less! ($120 to $165 before 15% discount.) Lahaina Shores Beach Resort is known in the travel business as a condo/hotel. Each unit is privately owned. Most owners have contracted with a firm that markets the property on their behalf. A relatively small number of owners have elected to market our own units, feeling we can offer quality, and at a better rate.
In addition to the complete furnishings of a vacation home, you are provided with the "niceties" of a beachfront resort hotel including 3 elevators, an open, breezy, comfortably furnished lobby, central air conditioning, large swimming pool, large jacuzzi, BBQ, 24 hr.front desk, etc. The entryway, the lobby, elevators and hallways have been completely remodeled, no doubt inspired by early Hawaiian plantation mansions. Did I say beach front? Yes.
The significant renovation of my Lahaina Shores Beach Resort sixth floor Mountain View studio was completed in July '08. The renovation includes an all new kitchen with solid wood cabinetry which has an oven range and microhood, a sleek vanity room, walk in shower with a transparent glass side wall, Mexican travertine and ceramic tile floors and shower walls, new carpeting, etc. The Hansgrohe wall bar shower is the same as you may find in 5 star hotels.
Budget minded? My standard fifth floor studio #520 basic rate is $15 less per night. Please inquire. The last three photos displayed are of studio #520.
High speed internet cable access is available. Also, a 24" Vizio flat screen HDTV and a DVD/CD player were recently installed in each unit.
The virtually silent, high tech ceiling fan in studio #624 was acquired as a result of a production overrun for the Four Seasons Resort at Wailea. Great for dispersing the a/c and, in the evening, the fresh mountain air. It has multi-speed push button forward and reverse memory controls.
The artist/owner has tastefully furnished his spacious (550 sq. ft.), mountain facing studio apartments which are centrally air conditioned. The firm California King size bed in each, along with the carpeted bedroom / living area, make these desirable retreats. Also, there's a rollaway bed with a standard size mattress for a third guest.
Both studios provide an unobstructed view of the West Maui Mountains.
In each unit, the fully equipped kitchen is complete with full size appliances, a microwave, cookware, dishes and utensils. Plenty of linens and towels (as well as beach towels) are provided. And you can leave your hair dryer and iron at home. The direct phone allows free local calling.
High speed internet connection is now available. Service is provided by Oceanic Time Warner Cable who will charge your credit card at a rate of $9.95 per 24 hr. day or $39.95 per week. Easy access instructions are posted in each unit. On site parking at my special rate is $3.80 including taxes per night payable at the front desk. Also, there is a coin operated commercial grade laundry room on each floor.
These 550 sq. ft. studios consist of a bath/shower with a separate vanity area, a dining area and a large living/bedroom area. In addition, there's a commercial grade coin-op laundry room on each floor.
The property is fronted by the ocean and has a beach which is excellent for sunbathing, safe swimming and snorkeling. (There's a reef about 150 yds. out which protects the beach from surf.) The large, manicured lawn and swimming pool area between the building and the beach is enhanced with umbrella'd tables & chairs, plus loungers for reading, sunning and snoozing. There's even a heated, bubbling, jacuzzi spa!
World class golf (think Ka'anapali & Kapalua), deep sea fishing and all water activities are available nearby.
At 475 Front St., this is the only beachfront resort in Lahaina. It's just a 3/10 mile walk along Front St. to Lahaina Harbor and quaint, historic Lahaina Town itself, Maui’s storied shop-’til-you-drop, gallery hopping, dining & partying mecca. Lahaina Harbor offers a full menu of boat trips for diving, snorkeling, sport fishing, whale or dolphin watching. Or for a memorable sunset cocktail / dinner cruise.
