Dancing Yarrow Retreat is a unique eco-retreat destination that practices holistic healing, sustainability, education, and retreats. We are located in the drift-less area near Mondovi, WI directly on the beautiful buffalo river. Our 4 acre organic gardens offer guests a farm to fork experience that focuses on seasonal eating. We produce and eat about 70% of what grow, and the rest we purchase from our friends and neighbors. The retreat has 15 acres of wooded hiking and skiing trails that wind along a quarter mile of the very private buffalo river. Great for kayaking, canoeing, and a dip in the river on a hot day, or after a wood stove sauna session. We have a 9 hole Frisbee Golf course onsite, along with horse shoes, and other yard games. Nearby access to biking, horse riding, ATV, and snowmobile trails. We also have an off the grid Monolithic home powered on Solar for tours by request.

We live in a Monolithic Dome home that is located on the property. We will be present on the property, but the Retreat location is very private and away from our dwelling, so we can be interactive, or not, which ever is the guests desire.
OUR SURROUNDING AREA
Buffalo county is a hidden treasure in Western Wisconsin. The Buffalo River, which runs alongside Dancing Yarrow Retreat, flows down to the Mississippi. It is peaceful, and untouched, so the wildlife is bountiful. Home to Eagles, Sandhill cranes, geese, ducks, whitetail deer, and many more creatures! The buffalo comes out in Alma, which is a wonderful tourist/artist town, and has amazing Mississippi Bluffs. There is an over look there, worth the drive. For Birdwatching, visit the "National Eagle Center" in Wabasha.
