LOCATION IS EVERYTHING WHEN YOU ARE ON VACATION. Visit Our 200-year-old home located at the border of Provence & Languedoc and only 20 min.drive to Mediterranean Sea. DISCOUNT PRICE FOR SUMMER SAVE 150 euros per week. Extra discount for bookings of 2 weeks or more. The Provencal house is in a small historic village near Nimes, has 5 bedrooms that sleep 10+, including a mastersuite, 2 full & 2 half bathrooms. We are a French-american family and this is our home, not a sterile rental.
All rooms provencal furnishings and style with garden views, are large and full of sunlight. Swimming pool has security cover, a cabana and summer kitchen with barbeque. Experience village life in the south of france for less than the cost of an hotel. Walk across the town square to get fresh croissants and bread each morning and have coffee in the garden by the pool. No car needed. All linensn& towels included.
Our master suite has an adjacent lounge room with sofas, entertainment area (TV, DVD, CD) and a small study. We have a useful library with travel books and recommendations from friends and guests. The other bedrooms each have double beds and provencal furniture, 1 has 2 twin beds. All look over the garden & pool. A large eat-in kitchen opens to the garden downstairs, next to the formal dining room that seats 10-12 easily. The living room is quite large with comfortable provencal furnishings from the region and a piano. The terra cotta tiled floors and exposed stone walls keep the house cool in the summer, large windows (with screens) let the breeze to circulate. Perfect for large families or 2 groups, there are 2 separate stairways for privacy.
This is Roman France with 2000-years of history. Our village is near to the Cote du Rhone vineyards and near many Provencal towns and attractions: you can visit the roman amphiteatre in Arles or the Palace of the Popes Avignon in the morning and go to the sandy beach at Le Grau du Roi or La Grande Motte in the afternoon. The Camargue's black bulls and white horses are just a 5 min. drive from the house. Nimes has the best preserved roman colisseum in the world and a thursday night festival in front of the 2000-yr-old Maison de Carree, next to the contemporary art museum. Swim in the river beneath the amazing Pont-du-Gard, lunch in the first Duchy in France (Uzes), visit the medieval hilltop fortress of Les Baux. Ancient castles and villages welcome you to the south of france. Visit Catalan culture south of us in Perpignan or Narbonne. Spain is 2 1/2 hour drive.
