The apartment has 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and a single), 2 full baths, and fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. All rooms have windows giving the apartment lots of natural light. The salon is tastefully decorated with satellite TV, multizone DVD and HiFi, and a stereo system. The terrace overlooks the sea/beach and includes wooden table (seats 4) and lounge chair.

Parking is available, as well as an ADSL/wireless internet connection throughout the apartment.

The exclusive spa town of Caldes d'Estrac(Caldetes) is located on the Maresme coast with frequent trains to Bareclona city center 35 mins away. It was one of the first touristic towns of Catalunya thanks to its tranquility, charm and unique offering of thermal springs right on the beach. You have the choice of three popular spas within walking distance of the apartment (Hotel Colon ****, Banys Can Titus, Balenario Caldes D'Estrac).

Caldetes also offers something for those interested in the arts. The FUNDACIÒ PALAU, hosts the collection of one of the most prestigious experts on Catalan painters, Josep Palau, where the main exhibition room is dedicated to Picasso.

The 2.5 km stretch of beaches, divided into the south side and north side, are all wide and sandy offering open fresh water showers about every hundred meters. The south side employs lifeguards, has installed playgrounds for children, volleyball nets for adults and cafes (chiringuitos) on the sand. Finally, for those who are so inclined, the north side has a more rustic and private flair and includes a municipal nudist area for sunbathing, swimming and eating.

Both sides have fresh water showers available. The length of the entire boardwalk is perfect for jogging, strolling or just people watching.

Caldetes has easy access to highway, grocery, outlet shopping and excursions to Costa Brava or France by car. The local train line is very comfortable and clean offering air-conditioned cabins with discrete music for the trip to Barcelona city center (every 15 to 30 minutes). Some of our guests have even included day trips to Universal Mediterranean and Girona as part of their stay.

But the best offering Caldetes has is it´s natural quiet charm just a stone´s throw from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona.

In addition, this location is perfect for all occasions. Its setting offers easy access to Barcelona, Mataro, Montmelo, and the Maresme coast. If you want a place to stay for events such as FIRA Barcelona or a race in Montmelo, this apartment is the optimum location. It gives you the chance to attend the events, and come home to a peaceful town to relax and explore the different regions of Catalunya.

Additional Information:

The apartment is supplied with a complete set of bedlinen and towels. On arrival, the client will be met, shown around the apartment and given any necessary explanations required regarding domestic appliances, etc.

The client will be requested to sign an inventary of objects in the apartment and deposit a bond of 300 euros, refundable on vacating the apartment and returning the keys.
