Area Description: "London Bridge is not just an iron structure but a vibrant, historical centre lying at the heart of the city. It has a growing shopping district which includes Hay's Galleria, Butlers Wharf and St. Katharine Docks. Stretching from Tower Bridge to London Bridge on both sides of the Thames, the region boasts a large collection of museums, galleries, restaurants, theatres and architectural delights.
The London Bridge Experience and Tombs as well as the London Dungeons give a theatrical yet educational insight into London's sordid past and how the city has evolved to what it is today. Tower Bridge Exhibition and the Tower of London, home to the crown jewels, provide a unique close up to royal life and the traditions of England over the years.
