Spacious two bed apartment off the Old Brompton Road, in a great West London location. Take in all the lovely shops and restaurants on the Old Brompton Road and stroll to the King's Road and the Museums of South Kensington.
The apartment is accessed at ground level and the hallway takes you into a large open-plan space which includes the living room, dining area and kitchen. The living room is modern with a couple of 3 seater leather sofas, coffee table, flat-screen television mounted on the wall, large mirror and interesting paintings. There's a dining table which is perfect for meals at home. Perhaps our favourite room is the bright kitchen, with its stainless steel work tops and fitted appliances and the floor to ceiling windows looking down to the private garden below. There's also a breakfast bar with two stools... a perfect spot for a snack or light lunch!
The lower ground floor hosts the two bedrooms (one with en-suite), the main bathroom and access out to a small private garden. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, two bed-side tables and a chest of drawers for storage. The en-suite offers a walk-in shower (with two shower heads for two people), wash basin, heated towel rail and a loo.
The second bedroom has a raised single bed, large chest of drawers and a fitted wardrobe offering ample storage. A further single mattress can be set up in this room, upon request. There is a patio door here for direct access out to the private terrace with a small round table and chairs. The family bathroom has a bath, shower, basin, loo and another heated towel rail.
Upon request, a luxury air mattress can be set up in the living room to sleep an extra couple of guests.
The property benefits greatly from its location. In the immediate vicinity there is a good number of restaurants, pubs and cafes to explore. Within 10-15 minutes walk you'll reach the Fulham Road, the King's Road or High Street Kensington for great shopping, galleries, cafes and restaurants. The Museums of South Kensington (Victoria & Albert, Natural History and Science) are about a 15-20 minute walk or a short bus ride.
For very handy transport links, the property is opposite the West Brompton Underground/Overground station on both the District line and the Overground. You're just 1 stop (a couple of minutes) from Earls Court station with further connections on the Piccadilly line (with direct connections to Heathrow Airport). You can be at Leicester Square and Oxford Street in under 20 minutes and neighbouring Notting Hill and High Street Kensington in 8 and 6 minutes respectively. The apartment is a great choice for a small family.
Guests should note that, as the bathrooms are internal, they can be a little damp, especially in colder weather, and we advise you to use the extractor fan.
