Sharon B. from Citrus Heights, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2016 Lovely home. Well equipped and comfortable! Close enough to walk to the lake, great for families with children.
geraldine p. from belmont, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2016 Our family had a lovely time at PML. Thank you for letting us rent your home.We cooked dinner each evening ; the kitchen was fully equipped , the appliances worked and so did the air conditioner. Close to Dunn beach and dog friendly.Perfect accommodations for our family of five with a baby and dog.
A guest from Fremont, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2016 Rental was very clean - even outside there were no spiderwebs/dust on the furniture/deck (though the floors inside could use a deep cleaning). Laundry smelled clean and rental was stocked with everything you could need. Even beach toys for the kids. The kids loved the game cabinet. Satellite TV stopped working our 2nd day but we made do without it. Overall, a GREAT rental.
Kimberly D. from Mt. View, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2016 We came over the 4th of July week-end and got to experience a perfect holiday. The staff at the rental company was very friendly and helpful. The 4th of July activities on the lake were fun- a band, good food and fireworks. We woke early on day 2 and drove to Yosemite for some hiking and we're glad we got there before the crowds. Cabin had everything we needed. Would come back again.
A guest from Davis, California recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2016 We stayed at LL&L for three nights to make day trips into Yosemite. For that purpose it suited us just fine: it had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and it was very clean. If I were to spend more time at the house, I would want a place with nicer amenities--better furniture, bigger kitchen, more woodsy. It's not luxurious, but a good value.
Alicia W. from San Jose, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2016 We reserved the laughing barn for 3 nights over the Memorial day weekend. The house was in okay to good condition when we arrived. I say this mostly because of how dirty the kitchen was. We suspect there was an issue with the dish washer as it was full of dirty dishes when we opened it upon arrival. Furthermore there were many dirty dishes in the cabinet as well. My only other complaint was the mattresses in all the bedrooms should be replaced sooner than later. Otherwise I have to say that we loved the laughing barn. It was comfortable, the location was great and the back area was very well used by all of us (kids and adults).
Saurabh G. from Union City, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2016 Listing pros and cons of this place for your decisionPROS- Owner Rebecca is awesome. Without us asking she suggested late check out since we were traveling with toddlers and the place was not rented the day we were leaving - Its a roomy house that can easily accomodate 8 adults- It was neat and clean and nicely maintained.- Amenities are in great condition (showers, Air conditioning, grill, kitchen appliances...)- The neighborhood is quiet and we saw deers in the backyard both the days we stayed thereCONS- The house is located inside a huge gated community, which is great for security, but every time you are entering the community, you have to get in line for security. We went out 5 times and every time coming back in was 15+ mins- The walls in the house are thin. So you will hear the noises of other guests in your house.- Our biggest issue: The mattresses are horrible, especially master bed room. The spring mattress was too loose for anybody's comfort and seems as if you are sleeping in a pit. Also, it heats you up pretty fast.
Melissa C. from Oakland, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2015 I was quite pleased with this vacation rental. I found it to be cozy for my family. It offered plenty: 3 bedrooms, nice size living room and kitchen, with wi-fi and cable. Plus, the kitchen had plenty of stuff to accommodate cooking every day. This house was also a great place to stay to spend the day in Yosemite Valley. I was able to leave my little munchkin at the house where she was able to relax while we took in the majestic sites of the park. And as the others said, plenty of deer around. The neighborhood is nice and perfect for strolling around. Only flaws are the thin walls of the house that you can hear noise from the kitchen in the bedrooms somewhat (not really bad) and that the living room furniture doesn't have the perfect set up for a bunch of folks watching tv at the same time. But I guess we could have moved things around. That said, I would happily book again. One last thing: the customer service was quite helpful, and reliable even on Thanksgiving day! Thank you so much!
A guest from Newark, California recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in October, 2015 Overall our stay was good. The location is excellent and easy to get to from the front gate. The home is well decorated, has WiFi, and TV. The kitchen was well stocked with the exception of no paper towels. One issue we did discover was the outdoor grill seemed to not want to get hotter than 250, might just be low on gas though, not sure. The only other issue we had was with the mattresses, both the master bedroom and queen bed have particularly uncomfortable mattresses. Complaints about the mattresses and quality of sleep came from both rooms, which was very disappointing.
Kira T. from San Francisco, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2015 We had a very nice stay at Live Love & Laugh cabin: it was very clean, exactly as described on the website, pretty spacious, with great working AC and large shaded deck. Kitchen had all we needed (pretty basic but good enough for a comfortable cooking. Also working with rental agency was very easy. Will recommend both this cabin and overall Custom Rentals agency to friends and family for all future travels to PML>
Richard S. from Sunnyvale, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2015 Generally, the property was clean and "as advertised." But there were some issues that took away from the pluses:1. Driveway was as steep as any street in San Francisco, with a sharp turn in the middle of it in order to park on level ground. I told all visitors to park across the road and walk up the hill. Problem was they were parking on some one elses property.2. The very nice front room had 1-60w bulb! It was to dark to do anything but watch TV. I don't watch TV on vacation.3. Short on toilet paper and not even one small bar of soap.I won't be back to 1-118.
A guest from Midland, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2015 The home was comfortable with the exception of being expected to provide BASIC necessities such as linens or pay $75 in order to have sheets, towels, bath mats, kitchen towels, etc. We traveled from out of state and if my son did not live in CA, we would have been required to pay $75 extra just to have sheets (ALMOST had the right size) on the beds. That's ridiculous! The gas grill was out of fuel (another guest had previously noted that on the "to do" list and apparently it was overlooked and not filled prior to our arrival). After calling management, a full tank was provided. We also asked for paper towels (only 1/2 roll was provided) and light bulbs due to them being out in a lamp, at the same time as the gas tank and none were ever delivered. Damage Prevention Fee of $45? Seriously? We also paid a pet fee which is understandable. Will the $45 Damage Fee be refunded? No bathmats resulted in wiping water off the floor with toilet paper so as not to soil the towels we had brought or cause damage to the floor - what a waste. No lamps in the master bedroom made reading before bed a bit uncomfortable as the overhead light was not very good for that purpose. We own a vacation home in New Mexico and I would be horrified for my guests to not have all of the comforts of home when they stay there. Either build the "missing necessities" price into your daily rate or just don't charge for something as basic as linens and paper towels. In that respect, we were very disappointed with this rental experience.
Martin A. from Modesto, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2015 Oooo my me and my family had a great time. Was on the back porch and 6 deers was 20 to 30 feet from me. It was so beautiful... had fun playing ping pong and pool.. the water pressure was outstanding.. really had a great time...
Sophie H. from San Francisco, California recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2014 Our group of two families (8 people total) really enjoyed the Live Love and Laugh Home. The pictures do not do it justice. It is a very comfortable and convivial space. It was perfect for a few days out of the city and a great base for trips to Yosemite.
A guest from Redondo Beach, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2014 Great house that was very comfortable to hang out and relax in. Poker and ping pong tables kept us entertained and the BBQ fired up on first click. And we got a lot of laughs on the "blue light special" bedroom. Enjoy!
rahul r. from Milpitas, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2014 Really liked the vacation home. The property management company was very professional and the house was very well kept. Would rent again in future.
Marie C. from Thousand Oaks, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2014 Rental through Pine Mountain Rentals was easy, they answered all my questions and provided great assistance in finding the rental that would suit our needs. The home was well supplied and the beds were comfortable. It was a pleasure to have a family of deer visit each day.
Jesse D. from Folsom, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2014 Great place to stay with plenty of room and everything you need. It was very clean and easy to find what you needed. It is a great location as well. We look forward to staying here again.
A guest from Albany, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2013 We rented this house with our friends for Thanksgiving weekend. We were worried that it would be too small for 8 people and a dog, but we were comfortable. The house was recently renovated, with hardwood floors in living and dining room, new stove, and fresh carpet in bedrooms. The driveway is steep, but it was not a problem for our SUV's. The kitchen is well stocked, though might need more utensils. The Internet worked great, so our college kids approved.
Addulanasser J. from Corona, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2013 I loved this home... came with everything i needed and more, from the fully equipped kitchen, comfortable and cozy living room, and the outdoor deck where i saw soo many deers passing buy. Also staying all night playing pool and ping pong with the family. And very close to the lake...i will definitely come back year again next year and recommend all my friends and family. Thank you for the staff at Pine Mountain ... My family really had a great time here.. Thank you
