This gorgeous 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom 3rd floor penthouse of 1,184SF, is located in El Cortecito, within a 6 minute walk to the beautiful white sandy Bavaro beach and a large selection of great restaurants, a few small supermarkets, pharmacy, 2 bakeries, ATM machine, money exchange, a spa, Casino, nightlife, excursions etc. A great open floor plan consisting of a living room with large dining room and open kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances with microwave, toaster and blender, dining area that seats 6, master bedroom with King size bed and en-suite bathroom and the 2nd bedroom with a Queen size bed and a separate bathroom. ELECTRICITY IS EXTRA AND BASED ON CONSUMPTION:
? The Dominican Republic is a developing country and it has it's challenges in regards to cost effective electricity distribution. Therefore, to encourage renters to conserve electricity during their stay, they will be responsible for electricity charges during their stay.
? We collect an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT IN CASH UPON ARRIVAL. It is just a DEPOSIT, real consumption calculated at the end of your stay and deducted from the CASH DEPOSIT PAID UPON ARRIVAL. See deposit requirements below.
? Normal consumption is $5-10 per day for a 1 & 2 bedroom, $10-$15 per day for a 3 & 4 bedroom and $25-$30 for Villas in Cocotal Golf.

A guest from Katy, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2016 The condo was clean and nicely designed. I had the 3rd floor 2 bedroom 2 bath. I rented a moped to get around so i did not noticed the distance from the condo to the beach. shops, restaurants and several stores were a short walk away. the electricity came out to be $30. Over all it was a pleasant experience.

Stayed for 104 days in January, 2016 The Rosa Hermosa condo was one of the best condo experiences I have had in the 22 years of winter "snowbirding". The condo complex was clean, well maintained and equally important was quiet. The security sfaff friendly and helpful and indeed vigilant. The unit itself was clean and in good repair and in my opinion one of the best provisioned in our many condo experiences. The condo is located just a few short minutes of safe walking to either the beach or to a small shopping mall with several restaurants and grocery stores. There were a couple of maintenance issues that came up in the condo but Go Punt Cana Realty was quick and efficient in affecting satisfactory repairs. The staff at the office were professional, friendly and truly invested in providing us an excellent winter holiday. I am happy to say that they succeeded. I would recommend this agency and condo for a great Dominican vacation.

Everything was as described in the condo. Very clean, quiet, well stocked. Great pool area which was quiet. Staff were very friendly, professional and went out of their way to look after the complex and ensure our every need was met. We will definitely be back!

Stayed for 60 days in February, 2015 The condo was great however we were charged a lot more money than any other renters within the condo complex. The electric bill was in US dollars however it should be in DM Pesos; again we paid far more than necessary at 35 cents US per kilowatt hour instead of 12 pesos. The security was inadequate because 3 condos were robed, one person got her purse stolen on the street and I got my wallet pick pocketed in Punta Cana. The country is a dangerous place and unfriendly to tourist. Very few people speak English with an attitude "I don't care". If you are looking for peace and quit, this was not the place; constant construction noise, late night music coming from all inclusive resorts etc. IF you rent verses owning a condo, golf prices are double for renters. In closing, the service from Go Punta Cana was very good.
Property Manager Response: Response from Go Punta Cana Real Estate Thank you for your review. We value your feedback, however and to clarify, you were charged a SHORT TERM rental rate. Others in the same complex with long term leases of 6 to 12 months have a lower rate due to the length of contract. The electricity bill is charged in US dollars to make it easier for our tenants who usually have are US dollars. If you want to pay in pesos, you can pay in pesos. The current electricity rate is RD13.98 pesos per kw/hr which is equivalent to approx. US$0.35 per kw/hr. This rate goes up and down monthly and we are not informed of the change until the bill arrives. We always adjust our rate accordingly. The robbery situation during your stay was an isolated incident and an inside job. This is not common for the area and security has been elevated to include perimeter sensors in addition to CCTV. Punta Cana receives over 2.5 million visitors per year and growing so unlike what you say about being unfriendly to tourist. On the contrary, locals are very friendly to tourist. There is a reason why tourist keep coming back and the numbers keep growing every year. Not to mention the growing Expat community with people from all over the world, different nationalities and different languages. There are so MANY CANADIANS living here full time and visiting that they refer to Punta Cana as Punta Canada! Not unlikely to find locals that can speak 4-5 languages. Golf rates are less for property owners because they pay an annual fee that renters don't pay. There are many benefits that come with being a property owner in the area. Mary F. from Ithaca, NY does not recommend this property. Stayed for 8 days in December, 2014 The rental company was great to deal with prior to our arrival. There were a few things that took place once we arrived that were not optimal for stress free vacation. 1. The taxi driver that the rental company hired to pick us up from the airport didn't have a clue as to where the condo was located. We had to turn on our phones and pay international rates in order for him to get directions. 2. We didn't have hot water for showers for 5 of the 6 days we were there. I contacted the rental company and they had a repair man look at the hot water tank, however, we only had hot water for one day. 3. There are quite a few "owners" of condos at this location and they dominated the common areas by the pool the entire time we were there. One particular owner had two children that screamed, cried and were quite annoying for the entire trip. The noise would start around 9:00 AM and go throughout the day until they went to bed at night. 3:00-4:00 PM was the only time we could enjoy the pool without all of the noise. This same onwer threw a temper tantrum when we asked for permission (and was granted) to use two chairs on our belcony. Our spanish speaking friend asked one of the Dominican care takers if we could use the chairs, he checked with his boss who said yes. Once this owner saw him bringing up the chairs she created a scene, treated the Domincan horribly and in the end we brought the chairs back down to quiet her. 5. We paid for an extra day?s rental as we had a 10:30 PM flight and didn't want to check out at 10:00 AM that morning. I had mutually agreed with the rental company that they would arrive at 5:00PM for a formal check out and we would settle the electricity costs at that time. The rental agent showed up at 10:00 AM unannounced that morning - seven hours early to check us out. I would not rent from this location again as it was not an enjoyable experience.

First, I would like to apologize about the confusion with the taxi driver. There is a brand new terminal at the PUJ airport that is causing confusion and some clients are going with the wrong driver, driver who does not know the way to the condos we rent. Call it growing pains... We are doing our best along with our trusted taxi drivers in order to avoid confusion.
The water heater issue, we did our best with getting to work, unfortunately due to the holidays and the lack of big hardware stores in our area like HOME DEPOT, we were not able to repair. It is now fixed and working properly after getting the needed parts shipped from the capital city of Santo Domingo - 3 hour drive.
About the owners in the condo who "dominated the common area" - we will pass on your comments to the owners association.
With the check out it was just a miscommunication, errors do happen, we are not perfect and especially over the peak holiday season when we have so many people checking in and checking out. One of our staff members was in Rosa Hermosa doing a check out in a different unit and noticed that you were available to do the check out at that time. You were not asked to leave, you were able to stay until the end of the day. It was just a formality to settle the electricity bill and provide instructions. They were just trying to buy some time and take advantage of the fact that you were available to do the formal check out which lasts less than 5 minutes.

Jordan D. from Marietta, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2014 I Would definately stay here again! The condo, pool, everything was beautiful. The only thing I would say is that the beach was about a 10-12 minute walk. But we got used to it after the first day. You're also right in the facinity of all the bars, restaraunts and stores.
