Overall Property Description:
La Cuccagna is a lovely stone-built farmhouse situated in a very panoramic position in the hills of Piacenza. This area, with its beautiful landscape, is famous both for its magnificent castles (still lived in by the area’s noble families, such as the Gonzaga) and for the production of very good wine. Close to La Cuccagna, there is a trekking centre where it is possible to arrange horseback riding trips in the beautiful surroundings. The house has recently been beautifully renovated, using authentic materials, such as cotto floors and beamed ceilings. It has been furnished to a very high standard by an Italian interior designer, who has used elegant antique country furniture. One hundred meters from the house, in front of a lovely free-form swimming pool, there is a guest house with a very well equipped bar and an open kitchen and barbecue. In the same guesthouse, there is a suite for clients’ use. The housekeeper lives in the back of the guesthouse.

If the villa features a phone, a deposit of 250 euros for outgoing calls will be always due at check-in (cash); the amount will be entirely refunded in case the phone is not used.
Rental prices include linen (changed weekly), final cleaning, electricity and how water.
Heating is charged extra according to usage.
Arrival time is on Saturday between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Swimming-pools are generally open from 27 May to 30 Sept. Different dates have to be arranged with the owners.
