Villa Il Giardino is situated in a very quiet position, high in the village of Positano, the centre of the Costiera Amalfitana. Internationally renowned as an important tourist and commercial resort, the area was often visited by famous people. Positano is easily accessible by rail and road, and has a small harbour where it is possible to take ferries to the islands of Capri and Ischia. This property, offering spectacular views, takes its name from the beautiful, terraced garden to the front of the house, which is almost unique in a steep village like Positano. The interiors of the villa are comfortably furnished and facilities include a fax machine and satellite TV. A particular feature of the house is the very light sitting and dining rooms, which open through French windows to a beautiful terrace overlooking the garden and the sea. There, it is possibile to arrange cooking services for the guests. This property is located in the historical part of Positano and therefore not reachable by car. The nearest parking area is at approx. 300 Mts. away, and parking spaces can be arranged in advance. From a narrow, winding road it is possible to walk down to the beach of Fornillo. It is possible to have air conditioning in the bedrooms at extra cost. The owner spends part of the year in an independent apartment in the lower ground floor.

If the villa features a phone, a deposit of 250 euros for outgoing calls will be always due at check-in (cash); the amount will be entirely refunded in case the phone is not used.
Rental prices include linen (changed weekly), final cleaning, electricity and how water.
Heating is charged extra according to usage.
Arrival time is on Saturday between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Swimming-pools are generally open from 27 May to 30 Sept. Different dates have to be arranged with the owners.
