Overall Property Description:
I Gelsomini is a lovely farmhouse, conveniently situated only 5 km from the centre of Lucca. The house has been restored by the owners, both Italian architects, who used it until recently as their main home. They have successfully preserved the character of the old farmhouse with its antique cotto floors and beamed ceilings. A covered patio connects the main house to the huge sitting room (100 sq. metres) that has been made out of the original hayloft, whose structure has been maintained yet modernized with parquet floor, fireplace and large windows overlooking the pool. As the property is less than 4 km from the nearest motorway exit, it is a perfect base for exploring Tuscany, with Florence less than 50 minutes away, and Pisa and the beaches less than 20 minutes.

If the villa features a phone, a deposit of 250 euros for outgoing calls will be always due at check-in (cash); the amount will be entirely refunded in case the phone is not used.
Rental prices include linen (changed weekly), final cleaning, electricity and how water.
Heating is charged extra according to usage.
Arrival time is on Saturday between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Swimming-pools are generally open from 27 May to 30 Sept. Different dates have to be arranged with the owners.
