Located in a beautiful and evocative rural setting, Anqua is a 16th century castle built on the ruins of a 12th century castle. It still belongs to the same family who originally built it, one of the oldest of Siena. It is situated on a hill near Radicondoli in the Sienese countryside with breathtaking views of the plain below. The enormous estate which surrounds Anqua is a game preserve and it is cultivated with vineyards, olive groves and woodland. The castle itself has a real aura and atmosphere of the past with its antique furniture, beds with testers and old portraits adorning the walls. The character and the atmosphere of this very special property make it a totally unique experience for a holiday.
