What makes this property so unique is that the location is exceptionally convenient but at the same time quiet and private. It is one of only ten 2-unit townhome buildings at the end of a cul-de-sac. Most of the Saddle Ridge Townhomes are 5-plex units. Saddle Ridge Townhome S-1 is a duplex with a wrap around deck and balcony sharing only one wall. This is also one of the few units that have the ski trail right outside the back door rather than having to walk across a parking lot or to the Moonlight Lodge.
Additional amenities include free wireless internet, private balcony with Jacuzzi and gas BBQ, gas fireplace, Direct TV on 3 new flat screen TV?s, DVD players and Blue-tooth personal audio system. The kitchen is fully equipped with new cookware, toaster, coffee maker, etc. The fabulous Moonlight Lodge, which is either a 150 yard walk or a 15 second drive, has a host of amenities including a restaurant, après ski bar with huge stone fireplace and a retail shop. This luxury townhome has a professional management company available 24/7 for all your trip needs.
The proximity to the Moonlight Lodge also makes this an ideal location to stay summer months for weddings or conferences held in the area. Enjoy dinner at the Moonlight Tavern restaurant or bar, or purchase a memento from their retail shop. There are also hiking trails adjacent to the Moonlight Lodge and excellent fly fishing at the base of the mountain area in the Gallatin River. And don't forget, Yellowstone National Park is only a 1 hour drive away down the scenic Highway 191.
Reviewed by: Gregg S. recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2016 Overall it was very good. The condo was very comfortable and had a great view of the mountains. The ski-in/ski-out feature was worth the money. Only complaint is that our two voice mail messages into the management company during our stay were not returned. We tried to get the code for garage before a heavy snowfall, but the call was never returned. We called again the next day and finally got the code.
Krysti L. from West Jordan, UT recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2015 Our family of ten stayed in the vacation home. It was impressive and roomy. There private hot tub did not work at the time but that was okay because we didn't really have time to use it. It was comfortable and we loved it being like a home. It was a little far to stay from west Yellowstone. It took about an hour from the vacation home to get to the gate of West Yellowstone, so the extra two hours of driving every day was hard on the kids. Overall though, it was a great place to stay.
A guest from Crystal Lake, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2015 Beautiful area. Not impressed with dinner at Moonlight Lodge, overpriced and service was not great. Manager was apologetic and did give us some compensation for very slow service and some mediocre dinners.
Charles B. from Brighton, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2015 The unit was just as described. It was clean and everything worked just as it should. It has plenty of space and met all of our needs. Great stay, would recommend.
Greg R. from Mooresville, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2015 Great time at this property. Location was ski in/ walk out. Great amenities and very clean. Would highly recommend his location.
A guest from Rochester, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2014 This unit was very nicely located near the smaller side of Moonlight Basin, but it was very easy to ski over to the main section of the resort. Big Sky likewise was very easily accessible. The unit itself was clean and came with plenty of extra blankets, humidifiers, A-V equipment and all the comforts of home. We could not have been happier with our stay. This was our first trip to the Big Sky area and based on our experience we will return. It was a lovely, easy drive from the airport in Bozeman and both Black Diamond and the owner provided plenty of helpful hints about how to make the most of our trip.Easy, fun and worth it. Thank you very, very much for such a great week.
James S. from Metairie, LA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2014 Stayed in Saddle Ridge last year and this unit was a bit bigger, however the layout made our accommodations perfect. Master upstairs and 2 bedrooms on the the lower level gave me and my wife privacy while the teenage boys had all the space and amenities.(X box 1, ext) jacuzzi located in the central floor balcony was perfect. Ski in and out with ease and the view was awesome- best Sking in America, wife loved the Spa at the Lodge. Friendly staff. A blessing to be fortunate enough to enjoy the experience.
Tom B. from Larkspur, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2014 Awesome!!!!!!! Great location for skiing and a quick walk to the Lodge for food and drinks. Couldn't have been any better. Place is taken care of in a meticulous fashion. If we came to Big Sky again we wouldn't need to look for a place to stay. Already found it!
