Terrific! A perfect place to stay! Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in December, 2015 We had 13 kids age 11-16 and 5 adults come and stay for 4 days. We found the cabins and the entire property exceeded our expectations. We ate our breakfasts and dinners in the Cabin and ate lunches and had game nights in the Writing Barn. There was plenty of room for everyone. We are very happy with our stay and plan on returning!

Stayed for 3 days in May, 2015 Overall the quality of the retreat houses were great. It was great having out group all in one place. One minor issue was that we spotted about five cockroaches in two of the houses. Which makes me wonder how many we didn't spot. Overall the quality was on par with what we thought.
Property Manager Response: Response from TurnKey Vacation Rentals Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this feedback on our rustic retreat. With our unusually wet spring season, we have noticed a bit of the outdoors creeping into our indoor space but we assure you that this is just part of the natural wildlife. The space truly is a find and we are happy that we could share it with you. In the future if you see anything that needs attention (including bugs) please make sure you call our 24/7 guest support line so that we can address this during your stay. Thanks again for choosing TurnKey and our beautiful estate. TurnKey Vacation Rentals
Perfect & Peaceful A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in October, 2014 This cabin is fantastic, and was exactly what I needed for a weekend escape of solitude. (It could also serve as a home for a really great slumber party!)The cabin's design is innovative and charming, and the decor, landscaping, and site have everything to make you feel at home.
Property Manager Response: Response from TurnKey Vacation Rentals Dear Jacy, Thank you for your review. We are so happy you stayed with us and enjoyed the Cabin. It sounds like you were able to relax and be comfortable. Please come see us again! TurnKey
Awesome Cabin for a quiet stay on acreage close to everything Becky H. from Austin, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in October, 2014 This was a delightful place to stay over the weekend. Beautiful 7 acres with the cabin set way back off the road. Very quiet and peaceful. Love the cabin design from the bed in the loft, to the nook with a bed under the stairs. Flowers on the counter, almonds, coffee, etc. Plenty of towels, screened in porch (love that!) and nice sized bath. Lots of storage and a desk for your computer with lots of plugs. If you had kids or needed an IPAD, this cabin comes with one on a little stand by the front door and right beside the bug spray. Two a/c units keep the place as cool as you want, but one was plenty for October. Comfy beds with lots of pillows (daybed so plenty of sitting area when not asleep). Bethany was fabulous with her confirmation, early arrival and late checkout and sent emails to let you know that you could take advantage of these opportunities if needed. i will go back again and again. Definitely feel like I got my monies worth if not twice that paid. Thank you!!!
Feedback Darrell B. from Saskatoon, SK recommends this property.
Stayed for 5 days in November, 2013 I had a very enjoyable stay in Austin however I would like to offer a bit of feedback. Clients in general would benefit from a SINGLE email that has ALL of the necessary information on it (address, security codes, wifi password, check out time, etc) as opposed to numerous emails. Specifically with respect to this property, you should be clear that tv is NOT available. Most people, including my neighbors, expected cable tv. I think it is probably thought of a bit like running water these days. Also be more clear about the "no meat" policy. I read "no meat allowed in the writing center" which did not appear to be an issue until I got there and discovered that the hole property is the writing center. I assumed that the writing center was a building on the property.Very good response to phone calls and emails. Courteous and helpful.
new construction going on Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property.
Stayed for 5 days in October, 2013 The cabin is beautiful inside and extremely clean, plenty of nice towels, cooking stuff, soaps and shampoos. The only drawback is that it's a small space with an open floorplan, which leaves little privacy if you have a larger group. During my stay, two new units were being built, one on each side of my own building. Due to the noise and dust, I left early, and at this point I am still waiting for the partial refund that I was promised. Prospective renters should be aware that the view from the screened porch is now completely blocked by one of the new buildings (not shown in current photographs.)But once the construction is over, it should be a great place to stay!
a cabin with deer for company Richard C. from Los Angeles, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 8 days in September, 2013 i had a wonderful 8 nite stay in the cabin and enjoyed the solitude it provided. its funny cause its on 7 acres and viewing the pics you would think its out in the open field--but it is in a residential neighborhood--but you don't feel like you have neighbors. my doggies enjoyed exploring the acreage and the family of 9 or so deer that roam the compound. its walking distance to Maudies TEX-MEX. if you like real texmex food--this is a great place to go. just a reminder, this is a meat free cabin so i ate lots of salads and vegies and then went out to john muellar meat company for FANTASTIC BBQ. also, bring your own spices/etc and cooking things as the cabin is a bit bare in this area...luckily, i always travel with half my kitchen anyways. the owners are super nice and checked in with me to make sure all was fine---THANKS A LOT FOR THE DOGGIE TREATS AND THE JAZZ DISC. i played it on the way back to l.a. and enjoyed it.i would recommend this cabin to those that enjoy being away from it all and yet close to everything. i was never more than 20-35 minutes to anyplace throughout the austin area.great place, very friendly owners and super cool cabin.
