Great place, great location
Reviewed by: Jessica S. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2016 We absolutely loved our stay at this condo. The layout was perfect, the place was clean & very nice, the garage parking was easy & convenient. Plus the location could not be better. My group agreed we should try to rent this place again for our trip next year.
Property Manager Response: Response from Wildernest Vacation Rentals Jessica, thank you for reviewing Bears Den 3B. We look forward to serving you again!
Paul C. from Aurora, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2015 We were in Frisco for the BBQ Challenge on Main Street. Bears Den was an ideal location to stay for the event. The space was large and well appointed. We would diffenetly stay there again.
Douglas A. from Omaha, NE recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2015 This particular unit was perfect for our family. We loved the lay out with sleeping area on the ground level and the very spacious kitchen, dining and entertainment area on the upper level. Its location is great if your skiing the summit area, or if your just hanging out in the area. Its location was super to amenities of Frisco being right off main street. Our favorite find was Abbey's coffee shop just a few blocks and nice walk from door of the Unit. We would like to thank the owners for opening it to our family to rent, and would certainly return if the opportunity came again. The medium rating I gave on the review was for the bathroom that was attached to the main bedroom was not clean. (Hair in the tub, used towels hanging in there, toilet lid soiled, and the washer was overpacked with wet towels, wash clothes, etc. I bought laundry soap and laundered them myself, (left the extra laundry soap for future guests). I cleaned the bathroom up (but wished there was some cleaning supply on hand to do so as my one kiddo takes baths only, and nothing to touch up the toilet with other than toilet paper). After that, we settled in nicely and enjoyed our stay. We and our young son especially thanks the family for the books we were able to read and enjoy!Thank you!
Luis C. from Littleton, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2014 This is a wonderfully appointed rental unit complete with games, toys and books for our entertainment. Loved the large kitchen and entertaining area upstairs. The humidifiers in each bedroom were great as well! The only thing I would say was general maintenance needed a little more attention. There were two light bulbs out in one bathroom (2 out of 3) and the heat downstairs took way too long to heat up. We would rent again though!
A guest from Waco, 0 recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2014 The rental property was wonderful! For the most part, we enjoyed our stay. The location of the property was incredibly convenient. We were within walking distance from the shops and restaurants on Main Street, playgrounds, the marina, bike paths - you name it! This property was very kid-friendly, and we were able to ?baby proof? for our 10 month old by simply putting a baby gate (which we brought with us) over the stairs to the basement. There was a great selection of toys and games to enjoy as well.We loved the spacious kitchen and living areas, and enjoyed the fact that the bedrooms were downstairs, so there was no interference from upstairs neighbors as we were going to sleep. However, they are building new condos directly next door to this property (as of July 2014) and the construction noise was a little troublesome. It was only during regular business hours, however, and it didn?t interfere with sleep. The restaurant directly behind this property did, however, interfere. From mid-morning through late evening, they feature live music (usually a singer and a guitar, amplified by a speaker). The music didn?t go as late on Sunday or Monday evenings, but the sound of the music and the patrons on Friday and Saturday nights was quite distracting late into the night. Even during the day, the music was loud enough to hear at a decent level inside the condo, making any kind of resting peacefully impossible. It was even louder when the windows were open, which is necessary to get airflow through the living area. This might not be a problem in the colder months, but the constant presence of noise in our ?peaceful mountain getaway? was very annoying by the end of the stay.
Bill M. from Woodland Park, Colorado recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 Good location and nicely set up. No cable service so TV was worthless. Ice machine did not work and freezer was marginal so no ice. After hours staff were very helpful
Karen L. from Carlisle, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 30 days in February, 2014 This unit worked very well for our extended family. Lots of space in the kitchen/eating area/ great room. The bus stop for Summit Express is one block away. The kitchen has ample cooking gear. The covered parking is terrific during the snow months.
Douglas B. from Ft. Collins, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 57 days in December, 2013 With a few glitches in our rental, we overall enjoyed it. Working with Katie is a joy. She does get the job done when there is a problem. Thank you.
Denise F. from Minneapolis, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2013 Good location, plenty of space, quality home. A bit over priced if paying full listed rental price. Management was excellent, good communication! The only thing we did not like was the memory foam pad/mattress in Master BR...bad for backs! And there was a damp musty smell in lower level. Change the mattresses and fix the smell and it'd be 100%!! Thank you!!
