Beautiful house. Beautiful setting!
A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2016 Our experience at Alpine Acres was great. The house was clean, lots of plates, silverware, towels, espresso maker!, coffee maker. It's in a beautiful setting. Very quiet and peaceful. It's very close to Lake Wenachee State Park and other trails. Leavenworth is about a 20 minute drive. I would definitely stay there again!
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. Love hearing that you found the Alpine Acres such a wonderful experience and well stocked. We look forward to having you come and stay with us again.
Tyler T. from Kapolei, HI recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2016 This property is a great rental for a weekend getaway. A group of us stayed for a weekend in the Spring.+ More than enough beds for everyone+ Pet-friendly+ Hot tub was well maintained+ Decent-sized fire pit+ Large yard to use+ Lots of amenities
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. Thank you for this awesome review of the Alpine Acres! We are so happy to hear you found enough room and enjoyed the great amenities of the property.
James G. from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2016 Three families, each with 2 kids, and we had plenty of space to relax and run around outside. The property is very nice and the house was very clean and well kept. However, part of the yard was scattered with goose/dog poop so we constantly had to make sure the kids watched where they stepped. We also had to buy extra paper towels and kleenex; for some reason the house wasn't adequately stocked with this stuff. In general, we had a great time and would recommend the property to our friends.
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. Thanks for the feedback! We love to hear you had a great time and would recommend us! Come back soon! Danny
A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2016 Three families spent three nights here and it was perfect for us. Spacious kitchen for group prep. Well stocked kitchen. Latte machine was great bonus. Table large enough for our dinners. We all enjoyed the hot tub, although could never figure out how to make the bubbles run. Only one hitch. We arrived to find some small problems with housekeeping and texted property manager. No response. The second day there we received an email asking how our staying was going. Replied with a repeat of housekeeping concerns. No reply. Then received a request to write a review several days after our stay.
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. Note: NWCC management emailed guest after this review came in as we never received a text from this guest, we were able to pinpoint that they texted a landline and not the 2 mobile numbers listed for them to text. We also never did recieve the reply from the app notification we send out checking in on the guests, we searched our entire email database and and did not have anything. We do respond immediately to our guests concerns, whether it be via a phone call, text voice mail or written note. We apologize that that was not able to be done in this situation.
Peaceful gathering spot for a wonderful winter vacation
Margot R. from Shoreline, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2016 Our stay was made up of 10 friends enjoying a winter weekend together. Thanks to the friendly staff and very accommodating layout of the cabin, we all enjoyed ourselves tremendously. After each day of cross country skiing nearby, we met back at the cabin for a soak in the hot tub, meals cooked in the well-equipped kitchen, and games around the big table and in front of the cozy fireplace. Our favorite time of day was morning; we drank our coffee out on the back porch, soaking up the peace and beauty of the setting. Beds were comfortable, too!
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. Love to hear from our outdoors-men about their great time out enjoying the beauty of our mountain community. We are thrilled about the great fellowship that you enjoyed with your friends and the time taken to relax together. We hope to have you back again soon.
A guest from Bothell, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2016 Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alpine Acres. Loved the location-just a short walk to the Plain Hardware store, the heated master bath floors, the cozy ambiance, the view, gas fireplace, the air hockey and ping pong tables, the spacious, well-equipped kitchen, and comfy beds. I think the water heater was taxed with 12 of us staying there, and we could have used more than one kitchen towel and dish cloth, but these are minor points. Our 7 year old grandson said it best when he stated, "I want to come back again."
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. Aw so glad your grandson wants to come back and love to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your review and we hope to accommodate you again soon! Danny
Linda K. from Lynden, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2015 Our family had one of the best weekends ever. We could walk to 2 wineries and to Plain. A large heated garage for the dogs, and a ping pong table! A large well stocked kitchen where we enjoyed cooking together-just a perfect fit for our family. And lots and lots of snow for snowshoeing, x-country skiing and sledding at Lake Wenatchee! Looking forward to our next stay there.
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. The Alpine Acres is such a fabulous location to enjoy all that Plain has to offer within easy walking or driving distance. We are thrilled to hear that your furry friends stayed warm in the garage while you played games and were able to spend some quality family time together. We love hearing about our guests who enjoy getting outside and enjoying the winter sports. We look forward to having you come and stay with us again!
Chelsea K. from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2015 The house was amazing, so much space and they provided everything we needed. Everything was clean and well organized and we truly enjoyed our weekend.

Fantastic beyond words! What a place. Just add your was awesome...doing it again.

Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. Thank you for telling us about your stay at the Alpine Acres. We are so glad you were able to enjoy the property and spread out. We do hope to have you back as our guests soon.
Michelle C. from Bellevue, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2015 Great house. Very clean. Beautiful location. The only suggestion is that the bbq desperately needs to be cleaned and you need a few more washcloths. :) We hope to come back and stay this winter!
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your stay at the Alpine Acres! We will be sure to address the BBQ issue and get a few more linens for your convenience! We look forward to having you again this winter!
Paula R. from Woodinville, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2015 Our family of 8, spanning three generations, found this home roomy, clean, and comfortable. The beds were better than a lot of rentals, the kitchen was large and roomy, with everything you would need. We enjoyed the quiet and the large hot tub. The house was convenient to Lake Wenatchee, Kahler Glenn golf course and Leavenwoth. I would stay here again.
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. Thank you for letting us know your experience at the Alpine Acres! We are so pleased to hear that your family were able to each have their own space yet enjoyed time together. We love that you were comfortable and were able to relax in the hot tube. We would definitely love to have you and your family as our guests again in the near future! Take advantage of our return guest discount!
A guest from Tacoma, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2015 the house was beautiful and well stocked. I took my mom and in-laws there as my son was getting married. Couple things... The drive from Leavenworth to Plain is not a convenience and it would have been nicer if that would have been mentioned prior to booking. I had no idea it was that far away, and since the roads were windy and even had a switchback it was not convenient. My folks are deathly afraid of heights which didn't help. The only other issue was the shower in the main bedroom. On a whim the water turns very scolding hot for a second or two then extremely cold thenn back to normal...was uncomfortable. Other than that it was very nice.
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. Thank you for telling us about your stay at the Alpine Acres. We are sorry you found the drive tedious. We will be sure to add the a better description of the drive to our website in order to make it less of a suprise for any future guests. We will have our handyman over also to check up on the shower head and see if we can fix the issue with the hot water. We do hope you may try another one of our homes in the future. Maybe something closer to Leavenworth would work a little better in your favor. Thank you again for the review and helpful criticisms.
john b. from spanaway, Pierce recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2015 We stayed at Alpine acres and had a wonderful time. The home was very clean and came with all the comforts of home
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. John,
Thank you for telling us about your trip to the Alpine Acres. We are happy you were pleased with the housekeeping and were able to relax and enjoy your home away from home. We hope you are able to return to stay with us in the future.
Mark G. from Everett, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2015 We had a really good time and the cabin was incredible. Thanks NA Cabins!!!
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. Mark,
We appreciate the time you took to tell us about your stay at the Alpine Acres Lodge. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and found the home beautiful and comfortable. We hope to have you as our guests again.
David H. from Marysville, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2015 We have stayed here many times and almost feel like it's our home away from home. We stay here with a few friends and enjoy it every time. Very clean and comfortable.
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. David, Thank you for taking time to review your stay at the Alpine Acres. We are glad you found this property comfortable for your needs and you enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you again soon. Your NW Comfy Cabins Rental Crew
A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2015 We had a great time at the Alpine Acres Lodge. Everything was as expected. The cabin was a great spot to hang out with friends and relax. The location gave us the feeling of being away from town but with easy access to downtown Leavenworth if we wanted it.
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc. Yeehaw! We love that you enjoyed the Alpine Acres Lodge and the area. Look forward to having you back. Jeanie
Misty B. from Shoreline, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2015 This was my third time renting Alpine Acres and I still love it! It is very well equipped and very comfortable. We did get a lot of snow during our stay which was great, but the long driveway could have used a was a bit tricky. Other then that, can't wait to go again!
Jerry L. from MOUNT VERNON, Washington recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2014 We had a fantastic few days at Alpine Acres with our family. We were so pleased with the beautiful house which was perfect for our family and had everything we needed. What a nice surprise to have a Christmas tree, gorgeous mantel, warm fireplace, window garland, Christmas placemats, etc. Such nice touches! We had snow to play in and had a great time sledding just up the road! We all agreed we would love to come back.
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Leavenworth Vacation Rentals Jerry, thank you so much for sharing your experience! We love to hear everything went to perfectly for you and your family. We are looking forward to your next stay with us :) Thank you again, Breanna and the NW Comfy Cabins Team
Valerie O. from Yuma, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2014 Had a great time gathering with my family. Sat out on the sunny front porch and sang and played music. Loved the area privacy for kids and dogs. It was a little far from LAeavenworth but to get the country atmosphere you probably have to go aways out of town. Especially enjoyed our ping pong tournaments and the wide open family friendly kitchen. Thank you. I would rent this again.
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Leavenworth Vacation Rentals Valarie, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We look forward to your next stay with us!
Michele G. from Richland, Washington recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2014 The cabin was lovely and will accommodate a large family. Everything was clean and in working order. Be careful with the refrigerator door inside. Help, together with tape for some reason. I do wish I had realized that the cabin was a little farther from Leavenworth than I had anticipated. Too long a drive to make repeatedly with a baby in tow..
Judy D. from Flower Mound, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2014 While visiting Leavenworth, Washington, for the Christmas Festival, we were pleased to find our Peaceful Getaway at Alpine Acres Lodge. It is about 25 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Leavenworth but the drive is beautiful through scenic mountain terrain. The lodge itself is located in a valley area with lots of open spaces to enjoy. The home was spacious and well equipped for our needs. Lots of kitchen supplies were provided as well as towels and the usual things you would expect to find in a rental. It was very clean and although I would have preferred an overstuffed couch, the one there was adequate. There was a lovely king sized bed and bath with heated floor on the downstairs level. The upstairs had two separate bedrooms plus lots of bunk type beds for youngsters in the loft area. It was clean and comfortable. There were lots of holiday touches as well.
Denise L. from Covington, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2014 Overall we had a good time! There were issues:1.) dishwasher leaked all over floor, we ended up doing all dishes by hand.2.) The king bed, when cover was pulled down, sheets had crumbs and there was a towel at the bottom. We stripped bed and remade it.3.) The great room area VCR/DVD player did not work.Very disappointing.4.) I cleaned the refridgerator prior to putting our food in.
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Leavenworth Vacation Rentals Denise, After reading your review, I am so surprised that you did not contact us during your stay. We were not aware at all of a dishwasher leak or the VCR/DVD player not functioning and could have sent someone over to bring you a replacement DVD player, and also assess the D/W. I will get someone out there immediately to address these issues as this is the first we have heard of this. We will also be sending your comments in regards to the sheets/fridge to the service provider as this most certainly is not the norm and I would have sent them out there immediately had we known about that as well. It is so important that these types of things be communicated to us while you are on site so as to not hinder your visit any longer than necessary. We take our guests experience as our #1 priority and are very disappointed yours was less than that. I hope you will consider us again in the future using your return guest discount so that you can see that. Jeanie **Afternote: The dishwasher has been replaced, and the VCR/DVD is working just fine, it appears guests prior to your visit simply plugged the cables back in to the wrong sockets, and it was simply a swap of both back to their original position.
Alana T. from TACOMA, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2014 We had so much fun during our stay here. It was just close enough and just far away enough from Leavenworth to enjoy our time there but be able to get away from the Oktoberfest craziness when we were ready. The house and property are beautiful and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much!
A guest from Lynden, WA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 The house was nice and everything was mostly good. There were a couple small things we noticed - the air hockey table worked but was uneven. The light in the upstairs bathroom on the first switch didn't work. Some of the hot tub jets didn't work. But overall it was nice. The privacy was not great at all. Did not realize the house was surrounded by neighbors.
A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2014 This house was comfortable and homey. Our four year old loved sleeping in the wagon bed and the lawn was a safe play space. We walked to the river and neighborhood wineries, drove to the lake to swim, rode horses nearby and enjoyed the country feel.
Michael C. from Port Ludlow, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 Our children and grandchildren joined us for a three day weekend to Alpine Acres. The house is gorgeous, the surroundings lovely and we all had a terrific time. The kids had a fight over who got to sleep in the covered wagon, it is just so cute. The house is so well equipped and the air hockey in the garage was a huge hit. We walked to the country store, played in the river under the bridge, went to the fish hatchery and hiked the trails, etc. etc. We just loved the house and can't wait to come back next year. It is a wonderful place to have a family reunion.
A guest from Lake Forest Park, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 We had a great time. A very nice place. One problem - four wash cloths for ten people?
Property Manager Response: Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc David, thank you for your review, I assure you there most def should have been more than 4 washcloths for your group for that home. I am looking into this as this is most def not the norm. Thank you for letting me know and we appreciate you being one of our valued return guests, we look forward to having you back. :O) Cheers, Jeanie
Deane S. from New Westminster, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2014 This property was very well maintained and supplied with everything you would need. Beautiful cabin with sleeping space for everyone, very quiet area, about a 20 min drive to town. Would definitely stay again!
Michael M. from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2014 Great rental. I was attending a wedding at Mt Springs Lodge which is .6 mile away so the location was excellent.Note that I usually do not rate the lowest or highest score.
David H. from Marysville, Washington recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2014 We have rented through Comfy Cabins three times and will again. Our friends are now planning on booking a cabin next year. Above everything else we love how "comfy" we are in these homes. We feel like we are at home instead of a hotel. When I booked the rentals I have a hard time with the total amount due...but it's always worth it. The homes are extremely clean, to the point me and my friends noticed how well the place is kept up. The management team was also super helpful when we ran into a bind and needed them to make an exception to their rules. We absolutely love renting from Comfy Cabins!
Christy V. from SEATTLE, Washington recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2014 Alpine Acres was just perfect. We had three families with 4 kids staying at the house, and it never felt crowded. The loft area for the kids was perfect for playing as well as sleeping. They all took turns sleeping in the covered wagon bed. The kitchen was well stocked, with lots of counter space and room for prepping. Beds were comfortable. The location couldn't have been any better. We could walk to the Plain store, and to the Plain Valley ski trails. Everyone loved the hot tub in the snow. What a great vacation! We would rent without hesitation again.
A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2014 Stayed at Alpine Acres with two other families. Such a fun vacation home and we love that it is dog-friendly and walking distance to "downtown" Plain and wineries. As some have commented, the house was maybe a bit dusty under couches, hot tub water not quite as crystal clear as one might hope, one upstairs bed quite squishy/squeaky, but overall maintenance/amenity level is good and the home is beautiful and comfortable and light-filled. We do a lot of vrbo-type rentals and this is a good one. Thankful for a fun stay!
A guest from mukilteo, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2013 The cabin was not ready at 4:00pm for check in and there was a very strong smell of cleaning odors that required us to open windows for 8 hours. We also were delayed on our New Years eve dinner for the replacement of the oven which lasted a hour, the owners had to bring a new one in from the west side.
A guest from Redmond, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2013 We stayed here for five nights over Christmas. The cabin was nicely decorated for the holiday, there was even a Christmas tree! The cabin is well equipped and generally well maintained. It could do with a thorough dusting, however. This cabin is pet friendly, which was great for us, but be prepared for some left behind pet hair. :) If you have allergies or are sensitive, you should rent a property that does not allow pets. Some neighborhood dogs roam the property from time to time, beware of dog poop! You can easily walk to wineries, convenience store and Plain Hardware Store for coffee. Overall we had a great stay. We have stayed with Comfy Cabins before and would do it again.
A guest from Bothell, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2013 We rented this cabin for two nights to celebrate Christmas with friends and go to the tree lighting festival in Leavenworth. Everyone was pleased with the location, condition, size and layout. There was plenty of room and we loved the Christmas decorations (especially the tree and lights!) The only observations I had that kept it from an overall 5 star review were that the floors needed a good cleaning around the edges and corners, plus the pots & pans need to be replaced with ones in better condition. We would rent it again and I have recommended it to friends already.
Lewis R. from Monroe, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in November, 2013 The home was clean and spacious. It was an enjoyable time with family. The home had a game room and hot tub which kept our family entertained for hours.
Priscillla G. from Scarborough, Maine recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2013 Upon arrival we gasped with excitement at the beautiful surroundings! OMG what a beautiful home! We stayed there the first evening and enjoyed the view and amenities and explored the town of Leavenworth the next day! Great time! Thank you!
Cozy cabin was a perfect home away from home for our large family
A guest from Auburn, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2013 I just wanted to say thanks again to the property managers. Especially after I somehow missed the two notices with the lock box combo and they still responded to my frantic call and emails promptly ;)
