Savannah Taylor Parlor
Stefani S. from Salisbury, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2016 We loved our stay at the Taylor Parlor apartment in the Historic District of Savannah. It was near Montgomery Square and Bull Street. We could walk everywhere in the historic district. Great location. Great place to stay...The kitchen had enough in terms of glasses, dishes, pots and pans - however we missed the basic cooking essentials that are usually provided in rentals we've stayed in - olive oil, salt & pepper, etc. which is why I gave it an overall 4 rating. The neighbors downstairs were a bit loud and the sound carried, but it wasn't a huge problem. The apartment is beautiful and the location can't be beat!
Property Manager Response: Response from Savannah Dream Vacations We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us, Stefani. Unfortunately in these Historic Homes, sound does carry. We apologize also for the lack of condiments, but we have many properties so replacing them plus keeping them all clean proved to be problematic. We do hope to host you again and our Concierge staff would be delighted to shop for your prior to your arrival.
Karen L. from Monterey, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2016 Our stay in Savannah was fabulous and the Taylor Parlor was a great place to stay. It was centrally located and very clean. I highly recommend this home.
Property Manager Response: Response from Savannah Dream Vacations Thank you for the kind words, Karen! We can't wait for to host you again!
A guest from Rock Hill, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2016 LOVED the location. I was alittle concerned by the distance to River St. but it posed no problem at all. We enjoyed the walking and loved going back to our hideaway at the end of the night.
Property Manager Response: Response from Savannah Dream Vacations We are delighted you enjoyed your stay at our lovely Taylor Parlor, Penny! We look forward to your next 5 star stay with us.
A guest from Hoboken, NJ recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2016 The location was excellent, very close to Monterey Square and Bull Street. The rental was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large. The property management company reached out several times via email with the codes for the front door. They also sent recommendations of restaurants and activities, which was thoughtful.
Property Manager Response: Response from Savannah Dream Vacations Caroline,, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the lovely feedback. Please come stay with us again soon!
Convenient Location; Not All That Glamorous However
Charles P. from Wilder, Kentucky does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in September, 2016 The location was very convenient in the Historic Downtown area of Savannah, Georgia. Was within walking distance of mostly everything especially for those who do not wish to deal with the Savannah traffic. The location had a interesting layout of the floor we rented with living room area first, followed by huge bedroom, then kitchen and bathroom in the back. However there were flaws in the location property and missing necessities. First the balcony in the back of the property was not glamorous or romantic at all when your view is the back of the building and into someone else's property. The kitchen lacked some cooking utensils and baking/cookware for when we tried to stay in and eat at the property. The bathroom lacked a plunger for when the toilet got clogged so we had to go out and buy one (not a very romantic thing to do on your honeymoon). The people who ran the property failed to notify us the guests of a few things about the property. When we first arrived it appeared someone was inside the location with lights on and both TVs as well. We were forced to call and ask what was going on and notified someone left the lights and TVs on to give it a "welcome home feel". They failed to mention you needed two key codes one for the door to get inside the building and the second to get inside the rental as well as no wifi password for the location and that was going to be construction upstairs, above our rental property. Overall, nice location, but the people at Savannah Dream Vacations need to review their efforts to make sure any guests that stay in their location know exactly everything that is there or going on around them before being surprised on their visit.
Property Manager Response: Response from Savannah Dream Vacations We are so glad you found the location of the property convenient, Charles, and the layout unique. However we are dismayed to hear of the various inconveniences , considering we emailed you a detailed information packet with your final receipt including both door codes and the wifi password. If notified we would have gladly provided you with any missing items from the kitchen or living amenities we detailed would be provided. As a matter of fact we answer phones and have maintenance staff on call until 10 pm; 7 days a week just so you never have to plunge your own toilet. We are so sorry you didn't notify us as we would have rectified all of your concerns immediately. If you give us another chance we can offer you a return customer discount on your next stay and we will provide you with a five star stay next time.

Victor - Jacqueline C. from Mishawaka, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2016 When we got to savanna, at first we were like uuuu! I think lost our money. I guess we were used to hotels. But the moment we walk in the house we felt home and we loved it. Everything that was promised was there and communication of customer service was superb. Now the question is not if we will come back but when I we coming back.If I can borrow McDonald slogan" am loving it" I would say" we loved it. It was great!!!!!
Sonya C. from Phil campbell, Alabama recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2016 We had a wonderful time. We loved the apartment and it's location, we were right in the middle of everything. WI'll definitely be coming back and would love to stay here again. The only thing we had a problem with was the DVD player, we couldn't get the volume to work. Over all it was great!
Property Manager Response: Response from Savannah Dream Vacations We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with Savannah Dream Vacations! We would be delighted to host you again and can offer you a return customer discount for any future visits. We had the maintenance man check out the DVD player, TV and both seem to be working fine. Thank you for alerting us, and during your next stay please notify us if you have any issues and we will gladly send someone out to rectify them. We are looking forward to hosting you in the future and look forward to providing you with a five star experience.
Lovely, comfortable apartment in historic section of Savannah
Reviewed by: Sydney P. recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2016 The location of the apartment allowed us to walk explore Savannah's historic section. We also walked to and from our daughter's SCAD graduation events. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the 5 days we stayed. It was great to walk the streets and discover cafes and small shops/bookstores in the neighborhood.
A guest from Lynn Haven, Florida recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2016 Very good! Much cheaper than a hotel. We were within good walking distance of many places. The property was perfect for just 2 people.

Though there was an issue with the new keyless locking system, their ability to respond and correct the issue was immediate. Always felt I was taken care of and had someone I could call if there was any issue at all. I will definitely use Savannah Dream Vacations again when I come back to this fabulous city!

Our hosts provided some basic amenities that were very appreciated and of good quality and they were very easy to communicate and get in contact with. The location of the accommodation is in proximity to Forsyth Park and not too far of a walk to Downtown making it an ideal choice! I'd fully recommend this accommodation or any others from Roman and Manderly as the perfect place to stay in Savamnah!
Reviewed by: Annette D. recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2015 We came to Savannah to move our kids into college at SCAD (yes, 2 kids!). Since our daughter is a senior, we've been making trips to Savannah fairly frequently over the last couple years. We've stayed at just about every hotel chain in town and were ready for a change. We were both so impressed with this property and it fit our needs perfectly. Location was ideal and the apartment was huge. Cheaper than the hotel chains too. I'm afraid the secret is out now.
A guest from Ladson, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2015 My stay was satisfactory, there are somethings that can be upgraded along with some routine maintenance that would make this a Excellent review. The blinds in the kitchen on the window and door were inoperable. The bed is outdated (flimsy metal frame) and the shower could be upgraded to add a door. The space and set up were great appliances functional and not outdated but it could use some attention.
Andreas J. from Hamburg, Hamburg recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in July, 2015 Thanks for that great vacation stay. This rental has everything what you need to feel at home.Close to Forsyth Park and close to downtown. We will come back.
Robert F. from Gainesville, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2015 The room was great. Big, open, with original touches but an updated kitchen and bathroom. We could walk pretty much anywhere in the historic district within 10 minutes. On the street parking was fine I would recommend getting the visitor parking pass before checking in. There's no real staffing to speak of so when you're there it's really like having your own apartment in the city. The only issue we had was noise from the apartment above ours whenever they walked around.
Loved the history of Savannah. Had a wonderful vacation.
A guest from ARNOLD, MISSOURI recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2015 The condo was located in walking distant to parks, historical homes and shopping. Parking was on the street with meters but with a parking pass from the visitors center we had no problem. The pass was even good in parking garages for the River Walk.
WAYNE B. from CORYDON, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2015 Best vacation ever. Our week stay at Taylor Parlor could not have been better. The property was everything as described. It had great charm, location and amenities. We have already discussed returning to the same property and have told family and friends about our wonderful stay. The neighborhood is filled with beautiful architecture, history and parks. Quaint restaurants can be found within walking distance and the food was wonderful. Look forward to our next visit.
Bradley S. from Lewistown, PA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2015 Very nice place to stay. Well appointed, clean and walking distance to many of theust see historic sites. Easy parking on the street. Get a parking pass from the visitors center and no need to feed the meters. We are SCAD parents love the convenient location and ability to eat in. We will be back.
Michael O. from Waynesboro, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2015 The location of this apartment in the historic district of Savannah was great. Very close to Forsyth Park, easy walking. Not far from the main drag, restaurants, St. John the Baptist church. Just a couple doors down is a great little antique map store. The apartment itself is spacious and of an open floor plan. Walk into the tv/sitting area on into where the king size bed is located through to the bathroom or the kitchen both of which were very nice. There is a small back deck but there is no privacy and it lacks appeal. The only real negative for my husband and I was the bed/mattress, uncomfortabley soft for our taste. We did not sleep well. So if I could I would probably give the "furniture" a lower rating but it is bundled in with maintenance and amenities. Oh and if you are sensitive to smells, especially disinfectant, upon entering the property you can surely tell that the cleaning crew had been there. Turn on the ac and open a window! Should take care of it.
A guest from Baraboo, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2015 We had a wonderful time. It was beautiful and quiet for sleeping. The courtyard and back deck were not used by us because it wasn't very comfortable out there. The deck was old and the table down at the courtyard looked right in at the neighbors sliding glass doors. It was awkward. But no worries because there were so many other places to hang out in Savannah. We would have like to recycle our garbage but there was only one garbage can.
David F. from Athens, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2015 This place was very nice the only reason I gave it a 4 star on location is cus I was wanting to be closer to river street that is the only reason I would definitely stay here again but watch the parking rules lol ...and the management was very helpful overall 5 star
A guest from Webster, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2015 We spent a week in Savannah at one of the the E Taylor units. The unit is large and airy. Amenities were good. Unit was clean. Parking on the street was easy. The location was the best part. We could walk everywhere in the the Historic District. Walking is a good way to really see Savannah and appreciate its beauty.
Tyler W. from Rathdrum, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in January, 2015 Taylor Parlor is a great place to stay in Savannah. The location is perfect and is on a quiet street across from one of the town squares. Parking was easy and we loved the ability to walk to anything.
Rachel P. from Atlanta, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2014 The place was perfect for us and we loved the location! Perfect location for walking to Forsyth Park for a picnic or towards all the nightlife in the other direction. We really loved the place and it worked great for us (my husband, 1 year old daughter, and I). We would absolutely stay here again!
Princess B. from Apopka, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2014 We had a great time exciting Savannah and enjoyed the old world feel in the house we rented. The only thing that could have improved it wee minor issues such as neither set of plugs in the bathroom working, the bathroom door doesn't shut completely and would shortly swing open if we didn't have someone block it with a shoe from the outside. The wifi speed working and we never called to because they talk about charges applying if they have to come fix things. Also.the lock on the front door sometimes would jam and not lock like it was supposed to. But our vacation was wonderful and the house is beautiful! I would definitely go back again.
A guest from Port Orange, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2014 The rental home was nice with a lot of character and location of the home is in the middle of everything. The only thing I can complain about is that the neighbors above us had a heavy foot. Late at night we could hear their every step.
Brennan W. from Lawrencville, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2014 This apartment was everything we looked for. Cozy and clean and a convenient walk to major attractions, it was a perfect weekend for my wife and I

28 E. Taylor Street, Parlor- Svannah Visit March 2014
Ron H. from Euharlee, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2014 My lady friend and myself enjoyed a nice 3-day break in Savannah in early March to celebrate my birthday while staying at a property managed by Savannah Dream Vacations ... at 28. E. Taylor Street, the Parlor Level.Despite rain and cooler temperatures during our Tues-Thurs stay, the accommodations in an old historic home with modern amenities made our stay an enjoyable one. We loved the Southern ambience of the unit, located on the 2nd level among other traditional Southern homes on a fairly quiet residential street, and just blocks from many of the beautiful squares that polka dot the historic district of Savannah. This was a great location for seeing most of the historic sites in Savannah, such as St. Johns Cathedral, and was within easy walking distance of Bay Street and the shopping and restaurants along the river. We seldom used our car except to visit areas outside the city, such as Tybee Island and a day trip up to Charleston. Our unit was clean and ready for our arrival. It was spacious and comfy, with a fully stocked kitchen that we never really used, and a large shower (no tub) in a spacious bathroom. The big king-size bed and large fluffy pillows made our nights very comfortable. The management staff was very cordial and helpful, making it easy for us to make a reservation, pay our bill, and gain entrance to the unit when we arrived. Even when we became confused about how to make use of a cypher for the electronic locks, someone immediately came over and assisted us on our initial entry. While the street is lined with city parking meters, we purchased daily parking passes from the visitor?s center and never had to worry about keeping loose change to fill a meter or the hassle of constantly keeping a meter running. We simply put the pass on our dashboard and parked anywhere we wanted at any time we wanted. We plan to visit Savannah again and will definitely consider this property or another similar property operated by Savanna
Bo R. from Bogart, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in February, 2014 The patio level lodging was ideal. Nice large bedroom, well equipped kitchen, comfortable well apointed parlor. The location is ideal- just blocks from coffee shops, restsurants, and shops. The beautiful gardens and squares are right there. Having excellent equipped laundry room was a plus.
David G. from Chesterfield, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2014 EVERYTHING WAS VERY NICE AND CLEAN LOCATION WAS ON SPOT. COULD NOT ASK FOR ANYTHING BETTER!!!!!! I AM LOOKING FORWARD FOR THE NEXT TIME I CAN COME TO SAVANNAH!!!!!
Tammy B. from Albany, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2013 My husband and I stayed in Taylor Parlor over the Thanksgiving 2013 weekend. The property was perfectly located in that it was close enough for us to walk to River Street, City Market, Forsyth Park, and all points in between. The property was very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The single thing that prevented a five-star rating from me across the board was the "noise." My husband and I are empty-nesters and we aren't quite as tolerant of running toddlers as we were in our early married life. The young couple staying in the suite above us allowed their small child to run - very nearly constantly - throughout the evening hours. Not only was the child's stomping feet problemetic in terms of an early bedtime, it also proved distracting while trying to watch television or read. In hindsight I should have contacted management and raised the concern, but at the time I didn't want to ruin the aforementioned couple's stay by offending them over their child's behavior. What should have been a perfect getaway, really didn't happen this time out.
A guest from Birmingham, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2013 Everything was perfect! In a city where parking is an issue in general, the on street parking in this location was always available! I was in town for the marathon, but even for my five year old daughter the walks to other locations was nothing! We will be back!
Alexander H. from Charlotte, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in November, 2013 My 84 year old mother was visiting us in Charlotte, NC. We've been to Savannah several times and always stayed at B&B's along the carriage squares off Bull ST. We decided to take a chance with the condo rental because of the location. The apartment was lovely except the dividing doors, separating the sleeping areas (a hide-a-bed in the living room) did not close all the way thereby reducing our privacy. My mother complained about having to walk so far to the bathroom (oh well.) I think this a perfect place for a couple. Or, if you are use to less privacy, you can accommodate more. We will recommend this place to our friends but let them know it's really best for one couple.
A guest from Easton, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2013 I was really only there in the later evening as I was out with my daughters. The remote for the tv in the bedroom only changed the channels which was annoying since you had to get up to adjust the volume and turn on and off. I must admit the furniture was a little shabbier than expected but I did not hang out in the apt. The bed was the greatest! It was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.The parking is not ample as described and there is restriction on overnight parking because of the sweeping. The back courtyard was pretty unattractive.I did not like the fact that I was asked to remove the trash when I am billed for cleaning. The instructions said to put it out in "the lane" but I could find no trash can and it was only a tiny amount of trash so I left it at the door-sorry.I am pretty easy going but I was not comfortable with the issues.
A guest from Canton, MI does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2013 The property was in perfect location, not in good condition. When we arrived the toilet was running and needed to be fixed, mold was showing thru the ceiling in three spots, each the size of my hand. In the bedroom the sliding doors did not move and a handle was on the floor, a picture was on the ground and marker was used on the wall, TV controls did not work in the bedroom and the A/C unit behind the headboard was very noticeable, and with all that they wanted to sign and charge me for a damage wavier. I will come back just not to that unit.
Marco S. from Johnson City, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in October, 2013 Place was very pretty, right in the middle of the historic districts. Walkable distance to pretty much everything, including River Street. My wife and I and my parents stayed here, decent amount of room but the sliding doors splitting the two rooms apart wouldn't slide closed all the way, so lost a lot of privacy. Also the air mattress provided was smaller than was told and did not have an air pump. We borrowed one from a rental upstairs which was really nice and I suspect was the type we were supposed to have.
A guest from Warner Robins, 31088 recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2013 My husband and I loved our stay at E Taylor parlor! We can't wait to visit again! Great location and beautiful home!
Nancy C. from Richmond, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in September, 2013 This property has spoiled me for any other place to stay in Savannah. 1/2 block from the Mercer Williams's house; walking distance to Clary's diner; 4 blocks from Forsyth Park; walking distance to downtown. Absolute beautiful - pictures do not even do it justice. Property management were friendly (like true Southerners!) and had a missing ironing board delivered within 30 minutes! I was just getting ready to return and checking the availability. I rented a bike (from Sekka!) and tooled around to really see this town from this central location.
A guest from CHANDLER,, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2013 This was the perfect property in every way. The kitchen and bath were BEAUTIFUL and the furnishings were so comfortable. We loved the fact that it was literally 2 blocks from Forsyth Park in the middle of the historic district. My family usually goes out to restaurants for meals during vacation but that didn't happen once! We cooked together and were really able to enjoy one another's company. It was so nice to be able to have all the comforts of home on vacation.
Gino M. from Atlanta, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2013 A few of the light bulbs were not working. Might make sence to put a few in the storage area. Also, the batteries in one of the TV remotes was dead. Other than that the room, location, and accomidations were excellent. the washer and dryer came in great use for washing our towels afetr coming from the beach. I would definitely do this again vs a hotel.
Margaret R. from Washington, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2013 I have stayed in your properties before. This one was well located, but the maintenance could be improved (peeling paint), air conditioning was freezing or too hot. Also need much better lighting.
David B. from Atlanta, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2013 We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. When I go to a city, especially one like Savannah, I want to stay in the heart of things and this property is right there. Convenient to everything Savannah has to offer and away from the tourist traps. No to mention the beautiful historic home we go to stay in. This was a real Savannah experience! Thank you!!!
A guest from Canton, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2013 Beautiful Apartment in historic Savannah, walking distance to everything. Enjoyed the stay!
