Actually, the water views don?t stop there! From the second-floor balcony at Sea Winds 8, you can also see the swimming pool in our small, friendly complex. There?s a Jacuzzi too, to soothe those tired muscles after a day touring the sights and enjoying the treasures of St. Augustine . . . or perhaps riding the waves and building sandcastles on the sugary shores of the beach! Let the kids enjoy ?one last swim? before bed while you soak in warm, bubbly comfort in the spa!
Sea Winds 8 is organized so that all the activity and noise take place on the ground floor, with the top story reserved for a great night?s sleep. Stroll into the condo and you are greeted by travertine floors, a pleasant décor, immaculate maintenance, and sparkling new furnishings. We renovated the entire condo just a few seasons ago, and we think you?ll be delighted by the little touches ? free WiFi, a full-sized washer/dryer, a new electric fireplace, a private balcony off the master suite -- that add such comfort and value to your vacation here.
Step into the living room, one entire wall of which is a sliding glass door leading out to the shaded patio with its casual dining area and grassy lawn leading down to the lagoon and fountain. In this room you?ll find a TV, music center, ultra-comfortable couch and recliner, and fireplace. Kick off your shoes and settle in. You?ve arrived, and the view is amazing!
Adjacent to the living area is the dining room, with a sturdy wooden table and enough space for the whole group, plus a friend or two. This table makes a great place to play cards after the dinner dishes are cleared. Mix up something frothy and cold in the blender, butter some popcorn, and let the homemade festivities begin!
The kitchen is compact and well-organized at Sea Winds 8, with gleaming appliances, a double sink, and cabinets stocked with cookware, dishes, glasses, and utensils. It?s no exaggeration to say that you could prepare and serve Thanksgiving dinner in this kitchen without having to run out for a single paring knife or corkscrew! Just pick up some groceries on your way into town, and you?ll be all set. ?And by the way, you can see right out to the grounds even from the kitchen sink, so you never have to leave the view behind!
A half-bath serves the downstairs, and the laundry room is here as well, plus our covered garage. Travel upstairs, though, and it?s all about calm, quiet, and great views. Both the balcony and the sundeck are up here, so you can have a front-row seat for the sunrise and the sunset.
The master suite is one of the best features of Sea Winds 8, and no matter how much fun you?re having at Castillo de San Marcos or the divine little shops along the boardwalk, you?ll look forward to returning here each evening. The bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, private TV, and sliding glass doors leading out to your own balcony. Slip out here at midnight to wish upon a star, or leave the blinds open and let the morning light wake you with its changing colors.
The master bath offers both a bathtub and a shower, with a separate dressing area. There is another full bathroom on this floor for the second bedroom, so nobody waits in line at Sea Winds 8!
The second bedroom is spacious as well, with its own TV and a trundle bed that sleeps 2 ? one ?up,? one ?down.? This room also contains a door out to the sundeck, where you can breathe in the balmy, salt-tinged air and hear the surf. This is the best place to watch the sunset!
