Resort: Small, family friendly resort directly by the sea, 30 km west from Plymouth, 60 km east from Newquay, 80 km south-west from Exeter. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Access: motorway A38 Exeter - Plymouth. Then road A387 Plymouth - Looe. Railway station "Liskeard" 13 km. Harbour Plymouth 30 km. Car ferry Plymouth / Roscoff - Plymouth / Santander 30 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Exeter (EXT) 80 km. The town developed around a former fishing and smuggling port. With its narrow streets, the town is traditional and has a nice atmosphere.
