A guest from Ringgold, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2016 Open floor plan in private area of the island, good location, everything went as plan, kudos to Beachwalker for ease of lease process.
Robert K. from Fort Smith, AR recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2016 We had a great week in Kiawah. The property was perfect. The pictures on VRBO actually didn't do it justice as my wife and I both thought the house was more beautiful in person. The openness of the bottom floor was perfect for enjoying evening family activities and just being together. Beach walker properties was great as well. I would definitely be happy staying at this property again.
Erika D. from Rye, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2015 My husband and I traveled with a 1 year old, my mother and father and 2 18year old boys. This home was the perfect place for a 5 day family vacation. Bedrooms were perfect. Location to beach was a 10 minute walk and 5 minute bike ride. Renting bikes was great to get around the resort, do so before you get there! I wish I was still there!
A guest from Upper Marlboro, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in July, 2015 This is my third stay in this beautiful house. It is close to the path to the beach located near a lagoon with plenty of wildlife activity, including 'gators, deer, many "exotic" birds and more. Home is spacious with many upgrades. Fight for the downstairs master BR. It is great! Beach Walker folks are experienced, knowlegable and friendly. I have rented through them many times in my 20+ years of visiting Kiawah.
A guest from Matthews, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2015 This was a last minute rental for us. Beachwalker Rental was wonderful and really helped everything go smoothly! We had a great vacation!
Diana T. from Knoxville, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in May, 2015 We had a lovely, relaxing time in Kiawah, as always. A few problems when we first arrived (air conditioning and wireless) were addressed and fixed within two days. We've been visiting Kiawah annually for over 30 years and this is one of our favorite properties. It easily houses families and friends.
A guest from Orlando, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2014 House was spacious and comfortable (furniture and beds). Kitchen is adequately stocked but could use more cooking utensils.
A guest from Grayson, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 21 days in June, 2014 For the most part we enjoyed staying at this property. It has a wonderful layout and plenty of room. It is clean and very well maintained. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are all a very good size. Proximity to the beach is great. A couple of downsides....the refrigerator is very small for a hous this size. I had to go to the grocery store every day to get food for dinner because there was not enough room to keep that much food and we were constantly having to take food out to be able to get to other items. The biggest negative for us was the temperature inside the house. It was very warm, especially upstairs, and use of the thermostats is restricted. We have never encountered that in the 14 years we have been renting on Kiawah. I feel like we should have been advised of this restriction prior to renting the property. I had to go to Walmart and purchase fans so my kids could sleep in their rooms. This may not be an issue for everyone, but it would keep us from renting this property again.
Property Manager Response: Response from Beachwalker Rentals Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. I am sorry you did not find the temperature of the home comfortable. Please call us during your stay and we will be happy to address any problem you have. We recommend never setting the AC below 68 degrees, as it can damage the system; aside from that recommendation, we do not restrict AC usage. This home has multiple AC units, so if there is a problem with one, the other can maintain the temperature in the home while we make any necessary repair. We look forward to seeing your family again soon!
A guest from Webster, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 22 days in November, 2013 Kiawah is the perfect place to kick back, relax and enjoy the outer-banks experience at its best. This house is ideally situated. A short walk to the beach and in the center of the island.
Vallie C. from Maryville, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2013 All was great with our beach house. Only comment is that when we arrived on Saturday evening there were no towels left in the master bedroom or the bunk room. I left a message with the answering service as it was after hours when we realized the issue. I also sent an e-mail. I did not expect to receive a call on Sunday but I didn't receive a call on Monday either. Monday afternoon I went the the rental office and asked for towels. Additional towels were delivered after my second request/visit to the office. However, I really don't think that I should have had to ask twice. Maybe there's an issue with the answering service and e-mail system that should be checked.
