A guest from Baldwin, LA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in February, 2014 The wife and I enjoyed our stay at French Ridge operated by Alpine Meadows. We were a block from main street and we walked all over town to different restaurants and shops. we sat in front of the fireplace and could see the skiers coming down the slopes. Very relaxing.
Nathalie W. from Lake Worth, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2013 Our family of four stayed at French Ridge for a week. The location was perfect and within walking distance to the lifts (Peak 9) and within walking distance to downtown for dinners. The townhouse was clean and complete with everything you need for the stay. There is a great park and sled hill right behind the unit. There is a grocery store (Whole Food's type) and liquor store right across the street which was convenient for stocking the refrigerator with food and drinks for the week. The property manager Jan was extremely helpful in organizing our stay and Hannah was super friendly upon check-in. We rented our ski equipment from Blue River Sports which was also within walking distance & on the way to peak 9. They allowed us to store our skis at their location which was nice to not have to carry it all daily. The staff was extremely helpful in fitting us for our skis and snowboards and their prices were great. We stayed during New Years week which was very busy, my suggestion would be to make dining reservations as soon as you can. Blue River Bistro was our favorite place and the Crepes a La Cart was wonderful once you got through waiting in the long line. Overall this trip was fabulous and a wonderful town to be in.
Carla P. from Walton, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 Loved the place. Very nice and passed my mom's cleanliness test. My parents are in their late 70's so it was a bit of a struggle for them to get up and down the stairs and the hill the property is located on. (slight grade). This property is located right next to grocery, many shops and restaurants.
