Stayed for 2 days in March, 2016 This place was absolutely AMAZING. I will be booking again ANY and EVERYTIME I go to Savannah/Tybee Island

Stayed for 4 days in October, 2015 The Beachside Colony condo was clean and comfortable. We were very pleased with our stay.
Good Resort, Bad Unit A guest from Batavia, OH recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in September, 2015 Summer Winds Unit 527 was dismal. Outdated, bad décor, inoperable TVs, stuffing coming out of chairs, dirty dishes. Not our usual experience at Beachside Colony because we enjoy going there. The grounds were in the best condition we have seen since going to Beachside. This unit needs to be taken out of the rental program until it is overhauled.
Nice stay Carmen D. from Bottineau, North Dakota recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in May, 2015 The condo was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We loved the view of the sea and the nearness to the beach. Overall a very nice experience.
Summer Winds 527 Charlene J. from Matthews, North Carolina recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in April, 2015 Overall this was a fine rental. Tub in master bath stained & needed a deep clean. One coffee maker did not work at all & the other one worked poorly. Needs a new coffee maker.
Great place Tabitha C. from Martinez, GA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in March, 2015 The beachside colony is always my first choice to stay at tybee island. The staff are friendly and helpful and the condos have always been clean and well suited. This condo was perfect and had a great set up and small view of the beach. Loved the furniture! The condo is steps from the beach and the pools. Would gladly stay there again.
Lovely View, very convenient Unit 527 was not up to expectations. Tracy C. from Tampa, FL does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 4 days in August, 2014 We stayed in unit 527... It was okay. The kitchen didn't have much of anything in it, not even a bowl to put fruit in or a cookie sheet (oh, but there were 6 colanders) The dishes we pulled out if the cupboards were still dirty, we ended up just going and buying some paper plates and plastic cups and silverware. The towels and bed linens were very low quality, very rough. The picture looks like there are 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom, there are not. We were able to get extra sheets and a blanket from housekeeping for the couch. It rained a good bit while we were here. Which was fine, except that you couldn't actually use the wifi to watch a movie on Netflix or play a game on your computer anything is was so laggy. This may not be a problem for some people, but I was traveling with 2 [15 year old] boys, so they were disappointed. Now, the view was lovely, the furniture inside was also very nice, it was really convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. The little restaurant at the resort was pretty good, we were pleasantly surprised. The pool area is a little run down, but adequate. The staff in the main office was very nice, they helped us out when all our keys wouldn't work and got the extra bed linens for us with no problem at all. Would I rent this unit again? No. Would I come back to Beachside? Possibly.
Unhappy camper A guest from Roanoke, AL does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 Would not stay there again. Could not sleep in because of groundskeeper/ gardener making noise with weed eater, lawn mower, etc. place was filthy nasty. Mirrors in bathroom had not been cleaned. Vents along with furniture was dusty. Master bed was lumpy. Sheets felt like sandpaper. Bath Towels were very dingy and poor quality. Pillows were stained, yellow. Couldn't wait to get out if that room. On the flip side, close to beach and in walking distance to everything. Oh, and you have your own numbered parking space.
Cleaning fee Michael D. from Charlestown, IN recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in May, 2014 Good experience, but not at all happy with such a large cleaning fee. After following instructions on cleanup, i saw nothing for the cleanup people to do other than vac. the floor and clean and disinfect the bathroom.
Not my first choice A guest from Wesley Hills, NY does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 2 days in March, 2014 These people charge a $150.00 housekeeping fee but then they leave a long list of cleaning chores for the renters to do before they leave, like do the kitchen, start the dishes in the diswasher, clean the refrigerator, strip the bed, empty the trash and where to leave the towels from the bathroom. If we are supposed to do all of that then what's the point of having a housekeeping staff? To open the security gate required getting out of the car to open the gate which isn't fun if it's a rainy night. Mgmt. was too cheap to put in a closeup security car sensor. You also had to do the same to get out of the place.
Fair A guest from Peachtree City, GA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 7 days in October, 2013 This is a pet-friendly unit, so our expectations weren't high. The unit is in fair condition, but the "headboard" on the master was a screen that was in no way attached to the bed. The tile floors had black grout...I'm not sure if they were supposed to be that way or if they hadn't been cleaned. The rest of our family stayed at Tybee Lights in pet-friendly units and I would highly recommend those units over this one. We will return to Tybee Island, but we will not stay at Beachside Colony. This unit was enough to keep us from renting there again. We did try to contact the leasing office by phone a couple of times, but the phone just rang and rang. We did have a maintenance issue with the shower and after walking over to the desk and discussing, someone showed up 2 days later to fix the problem.
TYBEE EXPERIENCE A guest from Louisville, KY does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 6 days in August, 2013 THE ADVERTISED PICS WERE GOOD. NO WIFI, DESPITE ADVERTISED IT WAS AVAILABLE. WE HAD IMMEDIATE ISSUES WITH THE CONDITION OF THE CONDO. COOKING UTENSILS WERE PUT AWAY UNWASHED. SHOWER AND TUB IN MAIN BEDROOM DID NOT DRAIN AND OTHER SHOWER DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. NO DISHCLOTH AND HAD TO USE WASHCLOTH. BLINDS WERE NOT FUNCTIONAL. BUT DESPITE THESE ISSUES WE DID HAVE A GREAT TIME. I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS LOCATION AND WILL NOT RENT THIS UNIT AGAIN.
first visit to tybee Erika H. from Cambridge, OH recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in August, 2013 We had a great time on our vacation. The room was great, the beach was even better. My only complaint, and it's not even a complaint, but the pools are not very big. I have 2 little kids that love to swim and jump in the pool. The pool are is very nice with lots of chairs, but the actual pool it self is on the small size. Bit i would definitely return, I actually did not want to leave. Thank you very much for a great and memorable vacation!!!
Nice space and plenty of storage for all your beach gear Ashley Y. from Cutler, OH recommends this property.
Stayed for 5 days in July, 2013 Really liked the layout of the condo and the location. There were a few things that could be fixed-the door to the laundry/pantry off the kitchen and the sliding glass door off the living room. It could have also used a good cleaning, we found a pacifier in the couch, several pots/pans were gross when we took them out of the cabinet, and the tile floor was pretty dirty. Despite these things, I would stay here again, we washed the dishes, three away the pacifier, and thoroughly swept the tile. We also liked the covered parking, pools, security, and easy access to the beach.
Meet New People..... Joshua W. from Simpsonville, SC does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 3 days in June, 2013 We reserved (and prepaid) for a condo. What we got was HALF of a condo opened to another couple who were renting the other half. We got 26 emails with other peoples CC information. We got to sleep on a bed that had hospital sheets on it next to a microwave screwed onto a mini-fridge. There was a couch in the hallway that looked like it had been in a fraternity dorm room for the last three decades. The AC made a lot more noise than it did move air. If you like having a bed in a closet in a parking garage, shared with random people, you will love this place. Oh, and a STEAL at $300 per night! Conveniently, the office was closed when we went to check out.
Beach Front getaway Somers W. from Macon, GA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in June, 2013 When My family and walked into the condo we were so pleased with the accommodations. The overall design was breath taking. We had a clear view of the beach and easy access to the pool. My children also had a great time. There was plenty of space for them to play and explore!!! I would consider beach front again when I vaction in Tybee!!!!
