A TRUE Beachside location A guest from Lawrenceville, GA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in January, 2016 Lots of space. Very clean. Balconies over looking the ocean. Experienced a breathtaking sunrise. Very close to everything on the island. There was some noisy construction going on at the pool. One elevator was out of order. The walkway light by our room was not working so it was pretty dark at night
Love Tybee Island! A guest from Clive, IA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 4 days in October, 2015 I rent homes all the time for large family vacations. We were there in Tybee for my niece's wedding. There were 9 of us in total and we wanted something right on the beach. This condo is perfect location wise. You look right on the beach every morning...beautiful! Everything was convenient to set up...The big negative is the condo is very no clean. We cleaned it to ensure our stay was pleasant.
Awesome vacation PHILIP R. from LIBERTY, TN recommends this property.
Stayed for 8 days in August, 2015 We had a wonderful time with family and thoroughly enjoyed all off the accommodations . The view was beautiful and this was our second stay at the Beachside Colony. Make sure to take copies of your receipt. They did try to overcharge us.

I can't remember the women name who helped us but she was new and very nice, very helpful, had agreat attitude. We came on a good day they were having a parade. All the staff I ran into was awesome this is a wonderful place to stay if your thinking about visiting tybee island. My condo was amazing we didn't want to go home very nice lay out the kids are down the hall from master nice big dinning table I could talk all day. I've already planned a trip with some friends they were in love after seeing the pics. :) you want regret it.
A Week on Tybee Island A guest from Ripon, WI recommends this property.
Stayed for 6 days in April, 2015 We had a wonderful week at the Beachside Colony Resort. We had an 8 month old baby with us, so the heated pool was wonderful! The beach outside the property is beautiful - very wide and clean. The maintenance department was very prompt when we had the dishwasher back up into the kitchen sink. We would definitely come back again to this resort.
March Getaway A guest from St Charles, MI recommends this property.
Stayed for 28 days in March, 2015 Our stay was again wonderful! The view is magnificent and we enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the ocean! The condo was well stocked. But, the TVs need updating and the wifi iffy at times.
DIsapointment Barbara H. from Napa, CA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 6 days in October, 2014 This is the 3rd time we have stayed in a unit in Beachside Colony. Sadly, this unit was a big let down from the others we have stayed at in the past. While I understand we stayed at the end of the summer season the basic unit is smiply in need of serious updating by the owners. It clearly shows years of wear and tear along with significant deferred maintenance. The unit was poorly outfitted with the basis items such as utensils and screens on the doors. I will say that the Beachside Colony management was responsive and did try to take care of as many issues as they could for us. But I feel that in the case of this unit the issues fall more to the owners not doing updating on the unit.
shabby unit A guest from Stafford, VA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 The view was great. The unit needs to be updated. Ten inch TV...really. It looked like mold was coming out of the air vents, bathroom faucets were loose, cabitnetry was rotting in the master bath. My other complsint was coffee or lack of..... You would think that for well over three hundred dollars a night there would be coffee available. I
Great Time on Tybee Island Russell A. from Thurmont, MD recommends this property.
Stayed for 6 days in September, 2014 The rental was very nice. Beach access was excellent. Off-street parking provided. Close enough to Savannah to enjoy the city, but far enough away to miss the hustle and bustle.
we love tybee , beachside colony , great location Jeff S. from Alpharetta, GA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 we enjoyed our stay , however the condo is in need of some maintainance , even though it was clean , the appearance was very dirty , broken chair out on the balcony , and the dryer lint catcher would not stay on , we could not use the dryer, for the money we paid per night i would think , the condo would be a little more polished.we also didnt like that all the beach gates were open , anyone could come on to property .
Good but not Great A guest from Elberton, GA recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in May, 2014 We have stayed at the property in the past and had a over all good experience. This time the condo we stayed in was very dirty. There were cheerios on the floor and we did not have cheerios. I went to look for something under the bed and it looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. The master bathroom cabinet is decaying! The floor was filthy when we arrived. There were hardly any towels a lot of the kitchen supplies were missing. It was not very good at all. NOT SATISFIED THIS TIME!!!!
Great With A Few Exceptions A guest from St Charles, MI recommends this property.
Stayed for 31 days in March, 2014 The view is spectacular and the location is the best on the island. I had to do some cleaning when we got there, but I had cleaning supplies with me. My husband was disappointed that we did not have high definition TVs....that could be an update and the WiFi hardly ever worked!
February Stay A guest from Lake Hopatcong, NJ recommends this property.
Stayed for 28 days in February, 2014 We enjoy our annual Monthly stay at Tybee Island and at Beachside Colony In particular. Even though this was a colder winter then usual in Ga and worse throughout most of the country we enjoy our stay with beach views, fishing access and the heated pool access always available and used a number of days. My only very minor suggestions for our unit at this time is for better setup for the TV's,Router and screens/lock for the deck doors. Hope to see you again possibly later in the year and next year. Thanks
There is a reason why I am a "regular" visitor Robert M. from Warner Robins, GA recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in September, 2013 I've stayed in many of these units and have not been disappointed. It's basically like having all of the comforts of home, but at the beach. We bring snacks and goodies to keep in the kitchen. While we eat out most meals, we usually stay in for a few as well. It's located about halfway between the lighthouse and the pier, which is where the crowds are if you are into that. If not, the beach right outside your door is never crowded. The unit we stayed in has 3 bedrooms, which allows everyone to have a bit of their own space, in addition to the great room and dining areas. Would I stay again - you bet. The only problem is that I have to make reservations 3 months in advance to get the week I want...
Tybee '13 Kerrie T. from Woodstock, GA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 3 days in April, 2013 Shower liners were gross with mildew. Can't you spend $4 on new liners every couple of months? One of the beds actually had sand in it, on the bottom sheet and we wondered if the linens had even been changed after the previous renters left (yuck!).The condo could have been a lot cleaner. As much as I paid it should have been immaculate and it was not. It wouldn't have taken much more effort to have cleaned the unit more thoroughly. Next time I will try a different place. We won't stay in that condo again.
Winter Visit A guest from Lake Hopatcong, NJ recommends this property.
Stayed for 28 days in February, 2013 We have enjoyed our annual visits. The accomodations are very good and management very supportive plus the other people staying at the same time are very friendly and welcoming. We left some minor observations on things in the unit that could use some extra care but nothing major. Thanks for another very nice visit to Tybee and Savannah.
